Anything man-made that you use 13 hours a day five days a week is bound to eventually crack or break. The tube on her Master Cardiology Stethoscope finally cracked at the point where she folds it and she tasked me with finding a replacement tube. Fortunately Amazon had this replacement tube made by CardioTubes that fits her Littmann Stethoscope perfectly.To say that my APNP is picky would be a vast understatement. She demands a lot of herself, her staff, and her equipment in order to provide the best in healthcare to her patients. Anything or anyone who doesn't meet her standards need not apply. Since I am far less than perfect, it is sometimes hard to believe that we've been married for 33 years.This particular replacement tube also came with five sets of soft ear tips (for proper fit), a rim and diaphragm set, and an ID tag. The sound quality is great, it was easy to remove the old tube and replace it with this unit, and the price is very reasonable -- a lot cheaper than buying a new stethoscope!

Sound is not as good as the classic, but fits well.

Not only is this tubing a fraction of the price of going through the original manufacturer of my Cardiology III, it came with a replacement parts for the membrane and rubber gaskets that hold these on to the bell and diaphragm. These pieces are slightly tougher to get on than those that originally came with my Cardiology III, but they fit so well, the acoustics are improved and the durability is (likely) better (time will tell). At this price point, I don't have to feel guilty about using Caviwipes, something that's caused my tubing to turn brittle in the past, and something we should all likely do more often. One thing that I remain undecided about is the ear pieces are looser than those that came out of the box with my stethoscope. I recall not liking how tight they were at first, but don't recall it bothering me after years of use. They originals did loosen up, but they're still much tighter than these.

Fits perfectly and performs as it should as long as you match up with the old or broken unit stethoscope tubing. Great Value! Let’s see if it lasts as long as my previous original tubing which I have had for 10 years using it every day.

I replaced the original tubing for my Master Cardiology stethoscope because the original tube had hardened. I have a bad habit of carrying it around my neck. When the new one arrived, it looked like good tubing, and felt heavy enough. Not so. The acoustics are abysmal, and it’s very difficult to get the earpieces properly aligned and seated no matter how much I try adjusting them. It almost renders the scope useless. Don’t buy this. I use a Master to hear the nuances. I can barely hear the heartbeat with this new tubing. Don’t buy this. Pay the money and get the performance you expect.

I have been using my Littmann Master Cardiology for years. I have two slightly different models. It is a superior stethoscope in a medical world that is increasingly reliant on technology that is not always available at the bedside. I was disappointed that there was not a readily available reasonable option from Littmann anymore. I took a chance on this replacement tubing and overall I am satisfied with sound quality and fit. The tubing seems slightly less robust from my original tubing but the new tubing will hopefully stay functional for many years. It is definitely a great value for the price.

This was a fairly good inexpensive replacement tubing to fix my Littman cardiology stethoscope. However, the earpieces were not the same and screw on the ear posts and are not interchangeable with the Littman earpieces. Still for a little over $20, it is far less expensive than over $200 for a new scope.
