The fabric is ugly and you can see the lightbulb through it and the stitched fabric is poorly stitched: to over stitching and it does not line up with wire frame so the stitching shows very significanlty. Ugly rip off!

Hi.I don’t know if I ordered the right size because the one I received looks more round than elliptical. So it doesn’t exactly look like the picture. Would the next size up look closer to the picture and more like a long oval instead of round? Let me knowOverall great product and serviceThank youJulie

Substantial, very well made in all respects - the frame, cloth shade, hardware and wiring. All good things come to those who wait - it took almost 2 months for the delivery of this item. I reached out to the vendor several times and they always responded in less than one day - very good customer service in that way. The light arrived in a low quality box (with a medium amount of packing) that obviously hadn't been treated well during shipping - it was a little bit crushed and edges opened in spots. Fortunately, the lamp was not at all damaged, although it could easily have gone the other way. The price for this item was very reasonable, so I guess that's the tradeoff.Bottom line - the lamp is wonderful and exactly what we expected.

I bought this one because it’s half price of the real Nelson Saucer bubble pendant. In the meantime I bought the real Nelson Saucer as well. The material is different: this is cloth, real Nelson is like silky paper; the intervals between the skeletons are about doable the real Nelson; this is white, real Nelson is milky. In a word, it’s similar but definitely different. It’s still a nice light if you are looking for a Nelson.

Delivered in perfect condition. Easy to hang if you know anything at all about electricity as it has to be hardwired. Excellent value for the price. Looked at similar at fancy stores for $595.00. Glad I went with this one. Very happy with my purchase, and as always I love ordering from AMAZON!!!!

Well made. Looks just like the original Nelson light at a much lower price. Love it!

Wow. After waiting almost a month to receive it, I was shocked by how low quality the light is. It is definitely not silk and instead is a cheap polyester with 4 visible seams running down the sides of the shade. The seams do not line up with the wiring of the shade so they are super noticeable and distracting. The wiring of the shade itself is very flimsy and does not hold shape very well, the wires bend either way so that the gaps between the wires end up being different sizes and again are super visible. The cloth had a stain on it when it arrived as well. I believe I ordered the largest size available.
