SHIMANO Br-t 4000 BR-T4000 Alivio V-Brakes,Black

I made the mistake of buying cheaper brake assemblies thinking I was saving money. I had to buy these because the cheaper ones from another source were not efficient enough. I have learnt my lesson and will only fit shimano brake parts in future. Advice to others .. pay a bit extra and get shimano cycle parts.

Easily Fitted and work perfectly

Item is very good and the quality is reaches my expectations however it’s so difficult toInstall the metal tube doesn’t fit with my brake cable so I have to a thinner brake cable. I’ve spent the past 45 minutes trying to fit this on my bike eventually it fitted I also have to replace the brake pads and install premium ones Because the brakes pads that come with the callipers are rubbish. Other that that it’s definitely worth it

I upgraded the front brakes on my £140 hybrid bike as they were rusting. It is a very pleasant improvement on breaking performance for very little money.As for the contents, this is just the one break not a pair. A plastic bag in the box contained the noodle and the rubber seals that sits to the front of it.

Although it doesn't sit all the way down in my bike's V-brake sockets, it still fits and works. Easy to install and to adjust. Much better braking then my old v- brake

Replacing some Halfords Clarks V-brakes and these are beyond my expectations.
