Find the bit that scans and mark it.
There is an issue here that I overlooked when I bought these cards:The tag... the NTAG215 NFC thingie inside the card is somewhat smaller than the full span of the card itself, and it is not always placed consistently.That may be fine if you've got a strong, broad reader like the lower screen of a 3DS... but trying to use these as amiibo substitutes for the Switch, with its reader a tiny thing under the right joy-con stick, it was very awkward to get it to scan right. I had to find the sweet spot on each card and mark it with an X in permanent marker so I'd remember which part of the card to scan. For most so far it has been towards the upper right (towards the perforated end in the packaging), but a few seemed to have the spot in other places.Writing to them has also similarly been a bit of a pain due to the obscured nature of the tag within the card. Successes were mostly the result of a lot of trial and error.I got these cards originally because they looked more durable than mere stickers and easier to store than bulky keyrings. THOSE things they're still good for. Just.... the awkward scanning needs some getting used to.

Works for making amiibos (animal crossing)
Works perfectly well.I used these cards with Tagmo and my phone to make amiibos for Animal Crossing, super easy.

Fantastic, work perfectly for amiibo. Now my figures can sit on a shelf and I just scan a credit card when I want to use them. Will definitely be buying more.
