Works Great!
If you are looking for a good quality speaker, look no further! This speaker does exactly what it says. We have used it at the pool, working out in a gym, outside doing yardwork, and out on a bike ride. Every single time, the sound quality has been great! It has gotten splashed and seemed fine! We have dropped it a couple of times and haven’t had any issues so very durable.I will say the biggest issue is the distance from speaker to phone doesn’t seem great. If you get more than 20 ft away, it starts to get fuzzy. We haven’t had any issues with the battery dying quickly. Charging is super easy! Also, it can fit just about anywhere!

Great sound and very portable
Great sound and quality for the price. Lasts most of the day on a single charge. It's very portable and easy to take along on trips.

Compare Flip 6 vs Xtreme 2 and Xtreme 3 (vs Bose Soundlink Micro and Flex)
I wanted to review three JBL speakers, comparatively, in one go. I have in front of me now the Flip 6, Xtreme 2 and Xtreme 3. I started with the Flip 6, to replace some aging Bose soundlink Micros (Flip 6 is way better than both Bose Micro and Flex, IMO). Overall, of the three the Flip 6 is the best bang for the buck...great range of sound, decent volume and bass for indoor use. Does distort a little at max volume. I then got the Xtreme 3 with high hopes. It has tremendously crisp highs, deep lows, but it is VERY lacking in the midrange...the sound feels hollow, empty. Might be OK for synthetic music, but for anything instrumental I was disappointed. What I did find is if you pair the Flip 6 with the Xtreme 3 in party mode, they together sound very good. The Flip 6 fills the holes in the sound of the Xtreme 3, the Xtreme 3 expands the sound of the Flip 6. A great pairing...but now you need two speakers. So then I got the Xtreme 2...which I will be keeping instead of the Xtreme 3. The treble isn't as crisp, the base maybe not quite as low, but it has good midrange, a much more balanced sound. A good way to explain it might be that the Xtreme 3 is better for drums/beats but the Xtreme 2 is better for bass and rhythm guitar. I wish that the Xtreme 2 could do party mode with the Flip 6, I bet that would be awesome, but the Xtreme 2 doesn't pair with the newer ones. The Flip 6 I think has slightly better range than the Xtreme 2, but it isn't as powerful sounding. Xtreme 2 gets louder and doesn't seem to distort at high volume. In conclusion, from my perspective: the Flip 6 is the better overall, bang for the buck, for indoor use. The Xtreme 2 is really good, would take if over the Flip 6 for outdoors and wouldn't be sad to have it in the house. The Xtreme 3 alone is just plain lacking...but if used in conjunction with the Flip 6,together are quite good. Xtreme 3 plus Flip 6 is louder and crisper than Xtreme 2 alone, a bit better range but not as powerful of a tone and still not as balanced in the mids.

Absolutely Amazing!!
I dont know why I didn't purchased it sooner. Been a JBL fan. Got a Clip3 as a gift years back and fell in love with it. Sadly the grill popped off from a good fall and had to glue it back a couple of times. I work at a warehouse where there are constant buzzers going off and conveyor belts everywhere and my Clip3 was just not loud enough. Especially when other workers had louder speakers than mine and made it hard to hear mine. I decided to spoil my self and get me an updated speaker. Got the teal since I am a Cervical Cancer Survivor. I took it to work and it made my 12hour shift go fast. I can hear my music over everyone's and over the work environment. The carrying case it perfect. My phone detected it quickly and it was a quick and painless set up. It took me by surprise with the app. Its beautifully loud! Even my husband and daughter likes it. May have to buy another one. 🤔

I wish I found this 3 boomboxes ago
-First - I am a fairly sophisticated music listener and I listen to a lot of different genres. I know the difference between poor, average and good sound reproduction. Please take that for what it's worth.- I first heard this at a Red Cross blood drive and the sound quality in a large room with a lot of ambient noise was exceptional. I could not believe what I was hearing. I tracked down the owner (an RC employee working the drive) and he let me see it up close. I bought one for myself that night and it is amazing.- It connects via Bluetooth to a Sony MP3 Walkman and I can take it anywhere. It's perfect for working in my shop or listening to music outside while washing cars, gardening, etc. and I think it would be suitable for any outdoor activity. It weighs nothing and I haven't drained the battery yet after several hours of use. It also connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth to play sat radio.- The sound quality at low, mid, and high volumes is OUTSTANDING. It has easy volume control from either the output device or the JBL Flip. This is an audiophile-grade player in a very small, lightweight, super-portable, and reasonably priced device.

It's solid
The speaker gets relatively loud for it's size and kicks pretty decently. Battery life could be longer. Had an issue of it not charging but used a different power source and reset the speaker, now seems to be ok.

JBL makes great Bluetooth speakers
I bought two JBL Flip 6 models so they could be linked together. I searched other brands and ultimately stayed with JBL. I have JBL flip 3 & 4 speakers that still work great at ten years old! The Flip 6 model packs a lot of sound for a small package. They hold a charge a long time.
