Great fit. Looks like original equipment.

Bar tapered larger as it got closer to the front. This caused it to rub as it went into the receiver only allowing it about 1/2 way into the receiver. Adapter had already been scratched as if someone before me might have had tried to use it and had the same problem. I cannot say if this was an already returned item I just know it was unusable for me.

The media could not be loaded. Solid piece of metal here, with all the right measures for a perfect fit. External is 2.5” for hitch and internal is 2” for insert. The pin aligns perfectly and I like the large 5” length, accompanied by a solid 3” linchpin. What sets this apart is the solid construction and diecast aluminum,. But I also prefer a hitch adapter like this because of its external lip. Those without can be accidentally pushed into the hitch, so this lip ensures no troubles and accurate alignment for the pin. I ordered this as a spare to keep in my truck. I like having the class-V hitch receiver, but there are times when the hitch I am using is only a class-III. My original sleeve is steel, so I like that this is aluminum and weighs much less than the steel one. The hitches are already heavy enough, so this is a plus.The sleeve does come with a hitch pin and safety clip. Both the clip and the pin have some rubber on them to aid with gripping the items.No problem with the size. It fit both my truck receiver and my RV camper hitch.
