Excellent, accurate and simple to use.
I already own one of the EK circle cutters (the scissor pro) which worked well but for I couldn't buy replacement blades for it, at least not in the UK, or shipping to the UK. Yes, really thrilled that they don't mention that when selling that cutter. So, I bought this one and it's great. Very simple to use, does not slip at all (just hold it down), no 'tails' to the circles with a good clean cut. If it suddenly starts underperforming I will update. Plus, replacement blades are easily available. I recommend using a glass cutting board - mine is a smooth surface glass chopping board from the kitchen department of a local budget home store. The marks on the board are just down to the fact that I was impatient and used the wrong paint for the underside and it scratches easily, use a satin and it'll be fine - or don't paint at all. Mine doubles as a workshop inking slab so I painted the underneath to show the ink better. I have cut circle samples from 39 gsm (washi paper), 140 and 250 gsm printmaking papers. All worked well and are shown in the image.

Very good tool when precise control of circle size is needed.
A great tool. Needs care in setting up the radius of the circle to be cut - but the benefit of that is one is able to cut circles to a very precise size. The ruler is in cm and mm, so you would first need to convert any inches type measurements to this in order to set the radius. The blade neatly retracts when not in use, so good from a safety point of view.I found this perfect for cutting inserts for the 90mm circular plastic coasters. I had previously tried the Martha Stewart Circle Cutter but, although this too is a great tool for cutting circles, it only offers sizes in steps of one sixteenth of an inch. As a result circles were either a little too large or small and so didn't give a good fit within the coasters. For general work where a tolerance of one sixteenth of an inch is good enough, or where it does offer the exact size(s) I need, I would use the Martha Stewart version as there is no need to set a radius, simply choose the appropriate slot into which to insert the blade, line the tool up, and simply cut the circle(s).

Takes a tiny bit of practice but then performs pretty decently
After a few false starts, I've got the hang of using this now - you need to press down on the outer edge to keep the thing in place, but avoid using too much force to spin the inner circle around. It will be fiddly if you are trying to cut near the edge of a sheet of paper, especially towards a corner - the paper will slip and bunch up a bit, if it's not totally trapped by the rubber that runs around the outer edge.Things got a lot better when I bought an A4 cutting mat and started using a few dabs of pritt stick on the back of the paper (in the spaces between the circles I wanted to cut out) to hold the paper down to the mat. I also redesigned my print-outs (printing images to feed a badge-making machine) to avoid having circles in the immediate corners of the page.End result is I get quick clean and pretty cut-circles, with very precise control on the size (and the blade-slider does stay in place very well once you set it, great for badge-making where all my cuts are the same 70mm over and over).

Well worth the cost.
I need to cut a lot of circles out of regular paper and card for a prank. This was ideal.. you should not the minimum circle cut is wider than the center hole of a DVD but is wide enough to cut a whole DVD sized circle. The rubber grip is very good and cuts an even circle with an adjustable, lowering blade. Recommend you buy a spare 6 blade pack for it as mine came with 3 spare blades but there's 6 spare slots (brilliantly hidden under the rubber base) to store them and are there when you need to replace them.Yes this is more expensive than some sets but the quality of the cut and the device made up for not messing up a single cutout.. Very pleased.

Great product.
So pleased with this product. I was dubious about buying as some reviews claimed it was hard to use. I had no problems, I found it simple and easy to use and it cut perfect circles everytime. The paper does need to to be big enough to reach at least one edge of the cutter to hold the paper down whilst it cuts and a good cutting board is a must.

- Cuts with uneven pressure, so one side may be cut too deep while the other isn't cut at all- circular part can sometimes drag the paper with it, causing tearing. I even tried taping down the sheet I was trying to cut from and it just caused friction on the tape insteadIt might be okay for what you want it for but for me it didn't do the job at all. Returning for a refund.
