Pleasantly Surprised
I was looking for a laptop for video editing and playing some metaverse type games and had been looking in local shops like CEX but I came across this P50 while browsing Thinkpads. I didn't need a new up to date laptop just something powerful enough with a decent price. I've owned a few regular Thinkpads before, the last being an X220 which I loved and had for 8 or so years. The laptop was delivered wrapped in an air pocket and bubble wrap in two strong boxes. Now I was expecting some signs of use but there is literally one tiny bit of wear on a bottom corner and scratches on the bottom panel. The keyboard, touchpad etc look like they have never been used. It looks like a new machine. Set up was easy of course and the laptop performance is amazing. The battery life on this machine is amazing for a second hand item, I get a good few hours out of it.For the price it's brilliant. £399 will buy you a pretty basic laptop new from your local PC World. If you're not worried about having the latest tech and want something with top performance then this is perfect.I did have to purchase seperate connector and caddy to install a 2.5" SSD but from what I understand this was the case when the laptop was new.

Lenovo ThinkPad P50 Workstation - A Robust Companion for Professionals
The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 has been a reliable workstation laptop for my professional needs. It's built with durability in mind, showcasing Lenovo's commitment to robust construction. The keyboard is a standout feature - comfortable for long typing sessions with responsive keys that ThinkPad models are renowned for.Performance-wise, the P50 packs enough power to handle most workstation tasks, thanks to its high-end processor and ample RAM. While it's not the lightest laptop to carry around, the trade-off for its solid performance is worth it, especially for those who need a dependable machine that can handle demanding software. The display is crisp, offering good color accuracy and brightness levels, which is beneficial for anyone involved in graphic work or video editing. Connectivity options are plentiful, ensuring that you can hook up all your peripherals without a hitch. On the downside, the battery life is just average, which means you'll need to keep your charger handy during long work sessions. Additionally, it can run a bit warm under heavy loads, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for a workstation laptop.Overall, the Lenovo ThinkPad P50 is a sound investment for professionals looking for a solid and reliable workstation. It may not be the most portable option out there, but it more than makes up for it in performance and durability.

Does Everything I Need
Really good battery life, 6 to 7 hours with normal use, I don't use it for streaming or gaming. Mainly use it for emails, spreadsheets, word and browsing the web. It is far quicker (about 25 secs) to start than my old laptop, and the display is clear. The mass (weight) may put some people off but it's still manageable.

Refurbished ThinkPad P52 with P1000GPU
After a bit of logistical a issue which SERemarketing bent over backwards to resolve, I received the ThinkPad P52 (in lieu of a P50). Despite it being a couple of years old the machine is in fantastic condition and it is buttery smooth in operation - and in real world conditions would give many newer processors a run for their money. I can't recommend refurbished laptops highly enough. This computer shows that these older machines are highly durable, easily upgraded and can still tackle modern workloads with ease - whilst saving you money and the planet in the process !

Exactly what I wanted
Having searched for a laptop to replace an aged machine, I wanted at least 16GB of RAM and an Ethernet port for a more secure connection (this seems to be something missing in most "lightweight" laptops). This Lenovo ThinkPad has both and, in use, has proven to be very fast with an excellent wireless connection as well as Ethernet. The screen is a delight as is the keyboard which has a number of very useful featuresIt is hard to believe this is a refurbished machine as the case is spotless. Battery life is excellent and a definite upgrade on my previous laptop.Delivery from the Vendor was fast and the machine was securely packed.I shall be more than happy to purchase from this Vendor in the future.

Excellent quality, great price
Excellent quality for the price, delivered quickly and well packaged. Very pleased with this laptop and would not hesitate buy again from this supplier. Can not give a score for gaming as not used for this. FreeCad has been installed and runs with out a hitch at very good speed.

Like new
Refurbished laptop workstation came in lenovo branded box and there's not a mark on it.Fast and powerful enough run my CAD software which requires a lot of memory and is graphics intensive.Great for general use with Office 365, browsing, streaming etc.More USB connections would be nice but that's true of every computer.Overall, I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this laptop.
