Get to understand the skills needed to paint well
This book was for a 14year old. It is thick and very comprehensivem and would need to be absorbed in small nuggets. However she and her mother think that it is very manageable. It has lots of diagrams and illustrations and I am pleased with this purchasegetting to know and understand tha skills of painting

Excellent copy even though it's used
I had seen this book in my local library and loved it. However, it was too expensive and I looked at Amazon for a good used copy. The copy I received was in excellent condition - only the cover had a very minor bend (or half fold). At a fifth of the cost of a brand new copy, this was very good value for money.

Great Purchase; Highly Recommend!
Very pleased with this book. Actually, I bought two copies: one for me and one for my granddaughter. I'm relatively new at drawing etc., so this book was great for me. The step-by-step drawing instructions are perfect. My granddaughter was skeptical, but after following along, she was able to draw a beautiful butterfly. I haven't tried painting yet, but will shortly. I'm sure those chapters will assist me on my artistic journey as well.
