This frankincense is primarily in smaller pieces, which is what I need for my charcoal block incense. There are a few larger pieces, but I can easily break them up. It works great for me.

This is a small bag of resin-based incense that has hints of frankincense but also a strong herb-like odor.When you first light this incense, you will get a spicy mix of familiar frankincense odor and something that honestly smells like oregano. The incense burns at a great rate when placed on charcoal. It is high quality and appears to be 100% true resin incense because the only thing left after burning it is a small pile of ash.The incense cannot be lit directly, it is best used with one of the many charcoal-based products that are out there for this type of material. Once you get it going, it will smell up the whole house, leaving a lot of white smoke around its as it combusts.I like the odor of this incense but that secondary smell of Italian herbs throws it off a little. I am not sure if this particular bag was supposed to be a blend of various flavors but it just says frankincense on the bag.Overall it is very high quality, you get an ample quantity in the bag, especially considering a very small amount will get your whole house smelling good. It is the true way to enjoy incense and much more powerful than any sticks.

The media could not be loaded. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star was because the majority of the pieces are tiny. Besides the size, I love it. I would purchase again, because the price was good.

Having spent a lot more money for much less product I decided to try this one. I figured for the price it was a cheap experiment.I am happily surprised! The quality is very good, way better than I expected. There is some debris but not much. The overall size is small with some larger chunks.The overall scent is very good of quality frankincense. It burns well (although I much prefer the scent when warmed over a tea light compared to burning it on charcoal).Some reviews are saying that the quantity is small. I disagree because mine was definitely a pound.I really think you should try this brand for warming it as incense. I cannot attest to its suitability for any other uses but as a great room freshener I really recommend it!

You get a lot! They are very sticky so if you’re going to grind them up I saw that someone froze them first to make it a little easier!

This was the second bag of this we have purchased. Mind you, there was a gap between them, but the quality with this most recent bag has deteriorated insurmountably. To say we are disappointed is an absolute understatement. Like another review, ours was mixed with multiple chunks of bark and debris, powder, and small bits of white and yellow “resin”. The aroma is not even pleasant as it was on the first purchase. They really scraped the bottom of the barrel in this bag. Definitely will not be purchasing again.Because I couldn’t give a ZERO STAR RATING, they get one by default.

I’m not very pleased with the scent. Not what I had in mind for what Frankincense smells like at all. Burned it for 5 minutes, then snuffed it out.
