Seems to be a good quality machine at this price bracket
This arrived a day early so well done toolsave, could have bought direct from toolsave and saved £15. So the machine it does seem to be a really nicely made piece of equipment for the price I have seen better and I’ve seen worse, at this price your not buying a top of the range industrial machine this seems to be a good quality diy machine and I find very reasonably priced for what you get I’m not commenting on the use of the machine as it’s only just arrived and I want time to evaluate the workings of it but as an all round machine this seems to be good value for money it was well packed and fitted together in 20 minutes ready to run I’m using it to sand wood as I’ve just taken up wood turning and need something to sand my work it will not see any excessive heavy duty work but from my own observations of this machine it looks as though it could do a good amount of work. I've looked at many of these sanders and read numerous reviews it was the amount of good reviews here on amazon that pointed me to buying this actual sander and so far I’m not disappointed the other reviews were fairly accurate and informative so I bought it I now look forward to using it within my new hobby. If anyone is sitting on the fence re buying a sander then I’d recommend this model it’s quite good for the money. This review is my own honest opinion I only give reviews on my own purchases and write my own opinions I generally buy things I want and read reviews of others to make my own informed decision and I’ve written numerous reviews for my purchases via amazon and I will only state my own thoughts re items I have bought personally at this moment this review is of the machine at set up only I will make a more informed remark after a couple of months of use. I hope I may have helped someone along the way remember this review so far is re the delivery the quality ease of setup and value for money which I find of good value but not re the use and serviceability of the tool

Excellent quality and price
Why did I um and ah about buying this, it’s a brilliant piece of kit, absolutely spot on for me, I am a keen diy man and I make things out of beach wood as a hobby, it’s sturdy and well made, heavy cast iron base, took me longer to get it out of the box than it did to set up and use, literally just a few minutes, I consider it to be excellent value for money and I am more than happy with it definitely a 5 star from me, oh and arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

Great workshop addition
Very quiet for a powered wood tool and little vibration. Can therefore be easily added to your worktop only when needed. It's so easy to use and effective that I think I'll keep it permanently ready for use.Just be careful as being too enthusiastic quickly results in too much stock removal!

Worth a look
Very fast delivery and pleasing first glance at the stout packaging, followed very quickly by despair at the totally unacceptably thin polystyrene base under the sander. This is a pretty chunky piece of kit, yet no attention has been given to the protection of the item underneath. Unfortunately, this not the first time I have complained about this flaw and I have returned items because of damage to the lower parts of the tool because of it. It's a case of a 'apath of tar and it's about time machine tool companies who import from East paid more attention to the small things. Reviews of this type of product contain many references to this aspect of transport damage.Having got that off my chest, I must say that there was no damage as far as I can see and the machine seems well made, runs surprisingly quiet and smoothly. The instruction pamphlet is sketchy at best and some thought must be given to interpretation of small diagrams. If you are an engineer, you will have an advantage here. The machine has that extra 70watts of power over its competitors and is also competitively priced. Messrs Lumberjack have an extensive stock list of attractive workshop machines and will succeed in this cramped market place if they pay attention to the small things like securing the vertical mode by easier means of access to the relative bolt and a better manual. All in all I am pleased with the purchase. It only remains to see if it performs wellRecommended.

It’s very well put together
It’s so well put together that it almost bruised my finger (And I mean almost) but I should have looked on eBay as they’re £40 less or so.

Great tool , i prefer it to my disc sander , bobbin sleeves can be a bit expensive though .

Very strong and durable
Purchased to replace my old and well used Clarke bench sander when the motor went up in smoke after about 15 years. This sander is pretty much an exact copy and I hope it will last as long. Certainly looks and feels very sturdy and runs fairly quietly as well.
