Company representative was nice to talk with over the phone, knowledgeable about product and related questions. Had a shipping error arrive and they were helpful in clarifying the situation and by finding a fast, painless resolution.As for product quality of the distilled water. Currently using produced water in a baby bottle sterilizer (recommended by manufacturer of sterilizer to use ONLY distilled water due to water-scale damage risk), now several months of non-stop use in a hard water area, VERY pleased with how well it is out-performing current need. If you need several gallons a day this can do it.

I have a spare bedroom that I don't really keep cool so I let this thing run in there. It got my kitchen pretty warm and it was really fighting my mini-split pretty hard. When in my spare room, it's doing a gallon in 4 to 6 hours. It easily produces enough distilled water for my GE ice machine. Grabbing gallons at the store was a pain on my motorcycle :) GO GREEN!

Description says this unit processes one gallon of water at a time. That is incorrect. The unit only has a 1/2 gallon capacity. Otherwise, the unit is easy to setup, use, and maintain. We mainly use the processed water in humidifiers, steam irons, and other items that can be damaged y tap water.

The first time we set it up it leaked. That was our fault. We shifted it ever so slightly. Now it was out of square but it didn't look out of square. As long as it is out of square the jugs won't seat properly. Now we just forget to take off the cap sometimes. LOL. We really love this distiller. You can only move it empty and then re-seat everything to prevent leaking. Easy to clean, easy to use. We really love this distiller and couldn't be happier

The Marketing is tailored to the poor quality of the product. "Lightweight with Easy-Fill Reservoir for seniors" The tap water tank does NOT properly or firmly and securely sit on the unit when it is empty or near empty.The clean water tank is so light and does not securely sit on the unit and will get knocked around at the slightest touch. This unit is over price and will not last any length of time. The distil time is way too long for a gallon of water.

Why do some reviewers not like this machine? I was buying ten one-gallon jugs of distilled water every few weeks, and after buying this machine, I will never need to buy them again. This distiller works like a charm! The fan is loud, and the machine does throw some heat out, but the saved trips and money to the store for the distilled water gallons far outweigh those issues. We use it for humidifiers in the house and the GE Opal 2.0 Ice Maker. I highly recommend this machine.

It took me a few, tries not to spill water all over the place and to remember to take the cap off the fill container before turning on machine. But now that I have it down as a routine and I keep it clean constantly. It goes good, clean pure water. Run it all the time.

I bought this to eliminate the annoying white dust from my humidifier. The gallon capacity is perfect. The only problem is the pad that fits over the heating coil. Instructions don’t specify which side to put next to the coil. Had to assume it didn’t matter. The picture shows part of the wire holding the pad is outside of the housing but doesn’t stay in place that way. Pushing both ends inside sort of works. Otherwise this appliance works very well! Glad I got it!
