RockTapeBig Daddy Kinesiology Tape for Athletes, Water Resistant, Reduce Pain and Injury Recovery

I have used my fair share of Kinesiology tape. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries and a knee surgery within the last 18 months. I am 35 and play sports and do not know when to slow down (i.e. the injuries). I was introduced to kinesiology tape during my first Physical therapy stint for my shoulder. It seemed to help a little. I was not full impressed nor was I convinced. Then with this recent knee surgery (im 9 weeks post op) i was struggling at Physical therapy. started to regress, nothing was helping. I researched a lot of tapes and decided on RockTape brand. I put my first strip on February 12,2016 and just took it off a few minutes ago Feb. 16,2016. I went from nagging pain while sitting and laying down and sharp pains while walking to, almost zero pain while walking and absolutely no pain while sitting or laying. I was truly amazed at the difference it made, I had a round of PT today and rocked it out with no issues. This tape is the real deal!! I am beyond satisfied with this product. none of the other tapes that were used by the therapists came close to the results I got from RockTape.Easy to follow instructions come with the tape, or you can get on their website and get videos to help you put it on. I will warn you when it says you should shave the area you are putting it on, do it. I did not and it was not fun ripping that off!!This tape is a must have if you are nursing an injury, rehabbing or just plain active.UPDATE 02/17/16: I used the black Rocktape logo for the first week. That gave me the reels above. I switched to the green color and I am not having the same results. I still believe it's great, I'm not having as much pain or the amount of issues as before. But, I think the black is more rigged and offers more support. The green would be good in my opinion for using when close to 100% health not 50%like I am at.

Works great. Rock tape is a wonderful toolTo not worsen or re-injure Yourself during workouts or for that weak shoulder during yard work. I thinks it’s worth seeing a chiropractor or pt a time or two and learning proper taping methods for your specific injuries. However, that’s not required. Play with it. You’ll be able to tel how it’s doing. Feel free to split length for a splayed tape - I don’t think the fancy pre cut ones are necessary. Lastly! Works great as B😂😂B tape too. Lol. I needed breast /body tape for a dress and had none. Did the trick.... more than I’d use of a wider, intended for use body fashion tape but more comfy and easy removal!

I use this tape for various aches and pains. It works great as a runner - stays in place, provides support, etc. But I've had challenges using it on my feet during jiu-jitsu. It doesn't work so great for that purpose and falls off quickly.

I've tried several brands, including Rock Tape regular. The H2O sticks the best, stays on the longest. It isn't as supportive as some and is thinner, which can be a benefit or a debit depending on what you're using it for.I like the fact that the ends don't curl up by just rubbing against your clothes like some of the cheaper brands. I use the Rock H2O for long term achy knee support, but use a little thicker (Rock Tape Regular or FlexU Pro) when I need more support for say a heavy workout, golf, climbing, or long hikes. I use the tape of both knees and both shoulders. Both stay stuck pretty well and give a touch more support.Overall I like the H2O and its my choice for daily and long term use.

I'm addicted to K tape, have a torn calf muscle & have been using this product for over a year. My physical therapist got me hooked on the product it really brings more blood to the areas that have the tape applied. The tape works great it's a little difficult for one person to apply properly but that's the only gripe I have with this product. Make sure to never touch the adhesive it will not stick to the skin properly. Guys if you need this for your calves get ready to shave. The tape will not work properly if you have hair on your legs so the shave is a must do. I ride 50-60 miles daily & the tape lasts 4-6 days if applied correctly. It stands up to a shower with no problem & sweat doesn't make the tape come off so it lasts a long time. If you have muscle aches try the tape & give it a chance it will work.

So I have been doing CrossFit for about 7 months now and over did one work out and tweaked my shoulders. I tried heat and ice, pain relievers, seeing a chiropractor, and stretching. None of them seemed to work. A fellow CrossFitter recommended that I try RockTape, and am I glad he did. Followed the video for general shoulder pain on their website, and had my wife apply it after that. Put it on right before going to bed, and then wore it the following day leading up to our work out at 4:30 pm. Did a couple warm up moves and stretches and the didn't have any pain. Went into the work out that had some moves that I knew would cause my shoulders to hurt, but they didn't. No pain at all. No clue how it does it, and do not really care. I have been pain free now for the last two weeks. This stuff is awesome.

My wife worked for a chiropractor for nine years and tried several brands. This brand has really good adhesion. Price is good and quality is great. Definitely make sure the area is clean and no oils or lotions and it will last for days. Lasts through showers and swimming in the pool but pat dry and don’t rub. Also a note about hair, shave unless you want to pull the hair out from the roots.

This is the best kt tape I have used. It stays on through everything for days. Other tapes I have used start to peel off the first time I shower and this stays on no problem. I'm super happy with it. It costs more but since it stays on for such a long time I use less of it than the cheaper stuff so it works out to cost the same.
