I have just installed on to my new PC, chose this one outside of the mainstream brands such as Western Digital due to the price. The additional heatsink is very nice, as this is mounted on the back of my motherboard, I have a mini itx, so cooling is essential so the heatsink is a nice to have. If you are in a similar predicament, I advise to inspect and measure to ensure you have enough space in your motherboard. The product itself is functional, and working well, suprised how fast and good it is, performs similar to my main SSD which is a Samsung EVO. Early days so have put 4 stars but will change to a 5 after sometime to see how it fairs. Overall, good value and choice for an SSD on a budget for storage bigger than 1TB.

This was a Christmas present for my son and it has completely blown me away with how easy and quick it was to install.I had to look up a video but for anyone who's not tech savvy (like me) this is the instructions I learnt.You take the front cover off ps5 case, look for the metal rectangle cover inside, unscrew it, using the screwdriver provided.Inside this cover is where the SSD goes, you take the case apart and take the 2 heat sink pads, remove the protective film on one side and stick it on the flat peice of the case push down for 20 secs, do the same on the other side of the case.Check which way the SSD slots in by gently pushing it in place then remove protective film on the flat peice of the case and stick this to the SSD pushing firmly for 20 secs again - this is the top peice, remove final protective film on the bottom peice and push the case together (be careful not to cover screw hole or slot in peice on either end) then slot the SD card in place in the ps5.Remove the spare screw and metal spacer from the ps5 (it's at the top of this slot) position the space under the screw hole (half circle) and screw it in place - then screw the metal cover back on and slit case back in place.Once you plug the ps5 back in and turn it on it will ask you to format the drive - this literally took less than 30secs, and it's good to go 😊To move games to it, press options on any game in the library and go to move to, then check all games you want to move.We moved 164gb to it and it was done it less than a minute and half, the read speed is 5900 which seems fine for the ps5.To install to the SSD in future - go to settings and storage and change ps5 games and apps to m.2 drive.Can't say anything for longevity but we got the 4tb one and so far my son is impressed. 😊.Hope this helped.

Very easy to install, PS5 formatted the SSD and the games stored already stored on the PlayStation transferred over really quickly. Games have played so far with no lag, very good piece of kit and very cheap compared to others
