Maxx Air Patio Misting Fan, Standalone 20 Gallon Water Tank, Perfect Cooling Machine, High Pressure 80 PSI Pump

I bought two of these misting fans, and they work really well.Also, I have to say the seller is truly stellar, had a hose spring a leak, and they are sending a whole new unit.I will say, once the base is filled with water, these units are hard to move around. I suggest keeping a little hand truck, or maybe a furniture mover to help move it around if you can not fill it where you plan to use it.The amount of water it holds lasts a good long time, easily will get you through a full day outside in the hot sun. And when you're done the fact that you can store everything inside the base is really nice.Highly recommend this misting fan!

I bought this for my elderly horse living in the Phoenix area last summer. It’s doing the job despite some abuse and dusty conditions. I added a water filter to the intake hose and have replaced the nozzles a couple times as expected. Overall it’s powerful enough to push cooler air across his 20’ stall. Super windy or humid days are obviously an issue but as a solution that didn’t involve running water lines and installing an overhead mister system, I’m happy with the value.

At 10’ away from where I am sitting at any fan speed I am wet but I am also 10 degrees cooler here in FL on our 5th straight excessive heat day. If they had put in a more powerful pump over the 80 psi they note, the water would be more atomized and less drenching. A mister shouldn’t make you wet. It should mist your skin so the resulting evaporation results in a cooling effect. When the weather is normal humans sweat and that sweating creates a cooling cycle the same as misting. But when it’s crazy hot your body’s seat mechanism can’t handle it. Enter the mister. So this unit will work outdoors but you will be damp from it. A quick google will reveal better than ten times the PSI of this unit is what is needed to not get “wet”.The unit comes with minimal and in some respects no documentation but appears well made. I recommend a movers dolly cart for under it to make it a little portable -with 20 gals of water you aren’t going to lift it!

Pump worked for 2 days then stopped working. I am trying to return it but all Amazon offered was a label to print and then drop off at UPS . I don't have the box anymore so now what do I do ? I got to buy a box for it now? Help

I had tried the normal garden hose mister fans and they end up soaking everything around you. This one is a true 80 PSI pump/misting system and is comparable to a commercial system. The fan is quiet and I really like the tree speeds. The mist is very fine and cools the air immediately in our front courtyard. I am going to purchase another one for my tiki bar area.

We’ve been using this for roughly 5 weeks now (Arrived early August 2023) - regularly…. Just noticed a couple days ago - it’s now making a noticeable sound - like it’s losing a bearing. We tightened up everything that we’re able to….still, no joy. Getting worse. Thrilled we spent a few extra dollars on the warranty. Sidebar: we purchased an inline calcium remover…. Consider the same… Keeps the tiny sprayers happy….

Easy yo assemble, easy to operate. Works fantastic and keeps you cool, great for the plants as well.
