This is a good product

We buy from this brand regularly. The quality seems good as the dextrose dissolves completely and there never seems to be clumping in the packaging- which is notable since we live in humid Florida. We will continue to buy the dextrose from bulk supplements. We use it daily when making hydration drinks.

This is a good enough sugar substitute that I have used for various recipes.

The powder is plain white and has a fine, soft texture without being overly dusty. It has a subtle sweetness without weird secondary flavor. Mixes well into liquid. I got this as an ingredient, but the label includes information about using the dextrose as a supplement.

This dextrose is mixed with niacin. There are yellowish clumps on top of powder. I took it twice and each time I had a niacin flush reaction. This is disturbing. I have ordered many bags of Dextrose and other supplement powders from this brand and they’ve all been fine until my latest order. I won’t purchase from them again.

I sifted it, and did notice one small off-white lump among a few clumps, which I discarded.👅 Taste & scent: Mildly sweet, no bitterness or scent—just what I’d expect.🫗 Dissolvability: 1 tsp dissolved cleanly in ~¼ cup warm water—no cloudiness or residue.🔬 pH test: I used test strips which showed ~5–6, which lines up with expectations for dextrose.From my experience, this appears to be good quality dextrose, and I feel comfortable using it. My only minor ding is the price—it’s a little higher than some comparable options.
