I bought these to replace an old set of clippers I use to trim my beard and this one does the trick. Feels great and cuts clean. Noise level is just like any other, not super quiet and not super loud. Perfect for what I need.

Finally a decent player of clippers! I did not find them to pull on my husbands beard when I was trimming it. Have not cut his hair with it yet but its the perfect stubble beard for that sexy look! thank you

The blades are even, run smoothly, and do not pull hairs. The only complaint I have is that they will only trim a beard down to a two-day stubble. If you want a smooth shave, you will have to also use a blade razor, as I cannot get a really close shave with an electric shaver. The vibrating-blade razors will pull hairs if you have put off shaving for a week or so, but these clippers will get your beard down to a length that a blade razor can handle. I also have their much more expensive battery model.. This is really identical for my 1, 1 /2 and #2 blades and works exactly as well
