Fits 2021 R NineT Pure model. There are no instructions, but if you watch any YouTube video on how to remove the R9T seat, you can figure it out. But here are some tips. Step 1. Remove passenger seat cushion by unscrewing it from the underside via a T30 Torx (or the plastic seat key that came with bike). Step 2. Lift up and remove passenger cushion. Step 3. Remove seat strap by unscrewing also with Torx tool, reinstall screws and bracket that held strap. Step 4. Install hump by tucking the frontside under the main seat (hooking) link a hinge, then lower rear side down. Step 5. Screw in hump with original T30 bolt that held seat cushion in place. Done.

The OEM bolt won’t work with the seat until you buy a U nut like this one since the seat cowl doesn’t have any thread for the bolt. It was a bit of an extra step but looks good. No top coat on this thing so we will see how the paint situation goes, easy installation. But here’s the problem, in the hole that the little pin behind cushion goes is an insert in a larger hole.. first time popping it open after install and closing it, the piece that holds it fell out and is now somewhere between my garage and 40 miles to work! Luckily though it’s got two bottom prongs that still help keep it snug. Is it worth the hassle to return and wait for a replacement? No because I already had put my Beamer emblem on it.It is what it is when you’re trying not to spend over $500 on the real thing. I’ll update if it gets worse.Update 01/24/25: I purchased the black on this time, pros and cons about this product are as follows.. as mentioned the rubber grommet you will at some point lose, it’s difficult to open and close the seat lid with it anyway. Also I have uploaded a couple pics but don’t know if you can see the permanent water spots. Yes water spots from rain! These do not come with a legitimate paint job! There is no clear coat or protective shell on the paint! This was my main reason for purchasing another one. I gave the new one a wax job, out of the box it does have a good shine but I expect the same issue, even having waxed it. So I’m going to use the first one I bought and took into painting it over.If you’re going to purchase from this company I would suggest buying and applying a clear coat spray.

For $50 this is very good looking cowl alternative of the OE $500+ one. It fits well and it looks good. Of course don't expect some high quality finish. It comes with a small badge to stick at the back but it's useless. I ordered the OEM BMW roundel from eBay for $20 and will install it when it comes.
