Works very well
So far it has worked very well , it was purchased to change the oil on a Range Rover which has a dedicated drain pipe at the top of the engine . The largest tube supplied is just the right size to fit over the drain point . The only problem is that the tubes are not long enough to reach from the engine pay to the ground at the side of the car . I had to place the pump on a table at the side of the car .Two or three pumps and the oil starts to flow , The 9 litres capacity is not quite enough for a full Range Rover , I had to poor a little out of the pump and continue .It drained the sump completely with no mess in around 5 minutes and the oil it easy to transport in the pump to the recycling centre. There is no need to pump the handle too many times just keep the pressure low enough to do the job .It is well worth the price and makes the job easy and clean .

A must if you're going to do Automotive DIY.
What I liked about this is it WORKS ! bieutefuly. Tested it first in my kitchen sink "don't tell the wife " bieuteful, it worked, and after using the pump for a few strokes, it continued to siphon off after I stopped pumping. And then used it on my car "my brother's " applying the same processes and the same it continued to siphon off the engine oil. With me moving the suction hoses further into the engine sump through the oil dipstick, surching for more until I heard glug glug, the end , no more oil in the sump . Then on to the next job. Conclusion if you have no room or getting under the car to drain the oil will be difficult well this method is the best way and the most efficient and convenient if you're working from home . And read the instructions that come with it. Very useful for you to understand the basics of how it works.

It's OK for an occasional user
This is the cheapest tool of its type with a 7L tank. Now I don’t need a 7l tank however at this size it is taller and so less bending over in use. The hoses it comes with are fine but could do with being 30cm longer. The fitting to the tank kept pulling out in use as it had to reach over the engine bay.I used it to syphon power steering fluid which it di just fine. That’s all I bought it for, to use once. Now I have it I suspect other uses for draining fluid away from places will present themselves. Clearly you don’t want to use it for oil and then you fish pond so you may need two of them if those are the jobs you are doing. It was easy to use, it worked, it was stable on the ground and the little stirrup foot peg was adequate to stabilise it while operating it. Possibly not suitable for use in a pro workshop where I think you might get fed up with the hose popping out but fine for light domestic use.

Works great and makes oil changes a breeze.
Works brilliantly. Used this to change the oil on my car and had no problems at all. The thinner pipes can all be joined together to make a super long pipe if needed so length is not an issue using this. Just a heads up, if you need to add a good length to get down into the oil, the pipes go down in diameter so may take a bit longer to suck the oil up.

Job done, well impressed.
9l version. Well impressed. The pipes are too short, but that’s because they can be connected together. Took me less than 5 minutes, to draw out all the oil. Though in this picture I used the largest and the smallest hoses, in the end I switch to the largest and the medium hoses which drew out the oil faster.Pumped it four times and it did its thing all by itself, stopping when no more oil to suck. For storage I plugged each end of the hoses to stop dripping with paper tissue and zip tied them to the unit.

My One Exploded !!!
The suction is fast and powerful. But mine exploded due to pressure.Oil everywherebut good product if you manage to get a none leaking one.

Good product in good price
Good product, doing the job, but the hose pipes could be a bit longer.

Lasted 8 months
Just to start with it didn't state it would only last so long!. I look after all my equipment as I'm a mobile mechanic so making tools and equipment last as long as possible is cost effective. The pump is not under much stress as it only suctions oil but the other day on a job it basically exploded at the bottom. I do not pump it to a full load I do a few pumps and let it slowly suction oil while I crack on with other tasks/jobs on the vehicle. No warranty according to the seller, offering 10% back so basically an insult and strangley asked if I can keep the item 🤔. Wish I would have bought a repatuble brand like a colleague as he has had one for 5 years and it still works perfectly. Would just advise to be wise, buy cheap buy twice as they say.
