The light I replaced lit up 1/3 of my backyard. This new light shines into the woods. At 120 W it puts out a bunch of light.

Its about as good as others I've evaluated with some minor differences. It comes with a pigtail of wires sticking out the top through a weatherproof connector. You'll probably want to remove the pigtail and just run your wires through the connector and make the attachments inside the light instead of on the outside.Inside, the connections are all weathered in using wire nuts and silicone. While the front half is easily removable to aid in installation, the wires don't have a quick disconnect, which kind of defeats the purpose and will make things more difficult unless you use the included mounting tabs (more on this below). You can disconnect the wire nuts but will lose your weatherproofing. Wiring can be done through the top, left, right or rear.Like most others of this type, it can be set up for dusk to dawn or on a switch. It comes with some unique mounting tabs which you can use to anchor the light without opening it, but you still have to make your electrical connections so I'm not sure what the point is for the tabs.

The light is very bright, so bright that it turns itself off when the light comes on, I had to make a shield to keep the light away from the photostatic eye, now it works fine.

The Construction of this LED wall pack light is durable and solid. The housing is made from aluminum and the lens cover is made of plastic. The light appears to be waterproof and it does have an IP66 rating. This LED light has a lifespan rating of about 60,000 hours of use, so it should last a long time. I do not believe that the LEDs are replaceable. The light has a beam angle of about 120 degrees and does a great job of illuminating an outdoor area, such as a driveway, yard, walkway ETC. I was surprised at how bright this light is. The light is rated at 16800 lumens but to me, it appears brighter than some other lights that I have, which are rated at higher lumens. This light is very bright. The light is designed to mount onto a building and the manufacturer did include the mounting hardware and a seal. You can expect substantial energy savings over conventional flood lights since this is an LED light. The light is rated at 120 watts. The light also has a built-in photocell sensor which will turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn. The dusk-to-dawn feature works as expected. This is a hardwired light so does require having electrical wiring available at the installation location. Installation was simple and took me less than ½ hour. I used this light over my 10 ft bay door on my pole barn. It works so well and looks really good, I like it so much that I plan on purchasing a second one to mount over my other bay door.
