Bought as a gift. She loved it. She uses it for herbal recipes notebook. The quality was as described. It's a little smaller than i visualized, but she loved it. Perfect for writing and feels like a small booklet. NO smell. It's worth buying as a gift.

I purchased this as an engagement gift for some friends of mine, and though it's nothing like a perfect replica, it's a very good resemblance to the book from the movie.I purchased the 18x14 as it seemed closest to the book size from the movie. I wish they made the eye larger as it seems small on the larger book. The book itself looks great, though.The pages inside the book are all blank, but very heavy paper and made to look weathered.The book is latched shut with three metal latches. The latches seemed to be decent quality hardware. They don't feel like they would break very easily, though they would probably bend if you put too much pressure on them.Overall, I think the book was worth the money I paid for it. I'm not at all disappointed in my purchase and when I presented this gift to the couple they were ecstatic with it.
