This Breezy Belt medicine cooling fanny pack is simply amazing! I had to re-read several times how this thing was going to do what it said it would do like keep your meds room temperature for up to 6 hours when it is really hot outside.When I first received the product, I looked for a charging port so I could plug it in; it doesn't have one; it doesn't need one. It is made with some PCM's type material that are situated inside the fanny pack and alls the fanny pack needs is a cool environment 75 degrees or lower for 8 hours to recharge itself. Once it is 'recharged', it is like ice-packs inside the unit.What does all of this really mean?This is the first meds cooler that I have seen that is pretty much on auto-pilot. You want to spend time out hiking or a day at the beach? Well, just make sure your Breezy Belt is inside an air-conditioned place for 8 hours prior to your trip. To make it a faster charge, put it into the fridge or freezer for an hour (don't put any meds in the freezer) and you are good to go. This Breezy Belt will save your meds from spoiling. No batteries required and no electricity required.This Breezy Belt is a perfect solution for diabetics that aren't dotting every 'i' and crossing every't' when it comes to managing the temperature of their medication on daily outings. Alls they have to remember is to bring the Breezy pack or belt inside a cool place every night.It has been documented that a Type 1 diabetic who uses pens or syringes has to make over 300 calculations a day just managing their diesese. Was good while it lasted. The whole thing ripped. Had it, maybe 2 months...and it tore open. Can't even be fixed.Follow up: the company is outstanding and resolved the issue to my liking. Would recommend trying this company.

Unfortunately when I put the product in hot sun for a long while today it did not cool. And, now my return window has passed on Amazon!

When I saw this medicine cooling bag, I ordered it immediately for my teen son who has food allergies and has to carry an Epi-pen with him at all times. This is problematic because we live in an area where it gets extremely hot for several months out of the year, and he's very active outdoors. In fact, he purposely didn't bring his Epi-Pen on the boat one time because he didn't have a way to keep it cool and ended up in a situation where he may have needed it. I am still fascinated by the functionality of this bag and the fact that it recharges itself. This makes it so easy for someone who is busy and maybe a little forgetful. My son doesn't wear it as a fanny pack but keeps it in his backpack that he takes with him just about everywhere. He even left it in his hot car recently while at work and we checked the epi-pen when he got home, and the medicine was still clear. (If not stored at the correct temperature, the liquid will get cloudy.) For the most part, this bag will be with him indoors so it will be able to recharge in air conditioning, but it gives me peace of mind that he will now take it with him everywhere, even where it's hot, like when he plays golf or goes swimming or boating in the heat. Highly recommend this for anyone who has to keep lifesaving liquid meds on them, at a cool temperature.

When I first received this cooling fanny pack, I was looking for a port or how to recharge it. There isn’t one, it is made with PCM’s that recharge themselves. As long as you keep it in an environment that is 75° or cooler for eight hours it will recharge itself. If you don’t have this option, you can place it in the refrigerator for an hour and that will take care of it. This is so easy to use. The bag itself can hold quite a few diabetic/EpiPen‘s.The fanny pack itself is easy to wear and has a back pocket if you need to carry anything with it. It is well-made and has very sturdy material.The breezy pack keeps the interior of the fanny pack between 77 to 81°F, so this will keep your medicine cool but it is not refrigerator temperature cool.

I wasn't sure how this would work and I am shocked to say it does.Take note this doesn't keep your meds COLD... it keeps them at room temp (around 86 degrees F)This is great for travel and on the go.Perfect for diabetics, or those with epi pens or even those with inhalers... things that need to not get over room temp.Would recommend!
