If you're a lover of quality sound pls gather here let's discuss....lolSometimes it is advisable to buy things you admire rather than paying too much attention to reviews made by other buyers after all most products are returnable and refundable. I decided to give this a trial knowing fully well that Samsung as a big brand would never disappoint their customers. This is the first time I would acquire a Samsung device in my life. Lo and behold I'm very satisfied with what I got. I got exactly what I wanted, no regrets. It is suitable for small or large spaces.The sound bar and woofer are solidly built. It has an inbuilt Dolby surround features. The bar has day and night mode functions. It has other sound functions you would love too. One thing I so much love about the woofer is the uniqueness of its appearance, it doesn't look like the regular woofers we all know. The bass is great.It came with an optical cable and it works perfectly well with my Sony TV. Bluetooth is great too. The woofer is top notch, you can always adjust it to shake the walls of your house. The sound system has a maximum volume of 100, I don't go beyond 30 having my TV connected with the arc cable.Another good thing is that when you power your TV with it remote, the sound system comes up automatically.ConsThe power cable wires for the sound bar and woofer are not long enough so you may need to have your power source not too far from the appliances or you may get a longer power cable most likely only for the sound bar since its often far away from the power source. Each is about 100cm long.The sound bar doesn't have HDMI port. But if your TV has Bluetooth or Optical arc then you have no worries. The only experience using the arc is that you cannot control the audio volume with the TV remote, you have to use the audio system remote. As for me I'm happy with the cons.

Brilliant sound bar and woofer, plugs did not arrive with my order but as soon as I raised this they arrived the next day, very happy with my product and with the service.

I recently got the Samsung Sound Bar Speaker with Subwoofer, and it's been a great addition to my home entertainment setup. The sound quality is impressive, especially with the added bass from the subwoofer. Setup was easy, and it looks sleek in my living room. I deducted one star because the remote is a bit clunky, and I wish it had more connectivity options. Overall, it's a solid choice for upgrading your sound system.

This is one of those purchases that we've ummed and erred of for quite some time.Finally, tired of listening to mumbling actors and wondering if we should listen to English speaking thespians with the subtitles turned on, we decided to get a soundbar.Luckily, I had a friend who had already taken the plunge with this model and he was highly complementary of it. So, we followed suit and we're glad that we did.Initially, based on my friend's recommendation, I was slightly disappointed as I was half expecting the Samsung soundbar to be a life changing moment, or at least one where I was totally wowed by an entirely new listening experience. It's not quite that, though.What it is, is an opportunity to raise the volume beyond what the TV alone will do, and to have the sound bar do a bit of sound equalisation - separating out the background music from the voices and the bass from the treble.The bass sound from the subwoofer is particularly effective, and it is important to set the level of this to something you will enjoy. Listen to a few songs that are bass heavy and also some movies with strong bass sounds and set the levels that suit you. At first this was a bit overpowering, and the sound of a car door shutting in a film could be way to booming. Now we have got things where we want them and know how to adjust for different content if we feel the need.Overall, this is what Samsung deem to be an 'entry level' system, so you could well get a more exotic experience if you want to pay more, say, £500 - £1000+. However, if you are mainly just after a noticeable improvement, an upgrade to sub-optimal sound, then you should be well pleased with this. This is worth the money we paid, around £150 at the time of our purchase.

The description of this item says it has HDMI connectivity. This is NOT the case, so it can't be controlled with your TV remote. As this was a fundamental requirement I had to return the item, but the seller is deducting a £25 "loss in value" fee as I had unpackaged it before I found out there was no HDMI. It did seem like a good quality product though... provided you don't mind having to use a separate remote.UPDATE 17/4/25: The seller now agrees that the product was not described accurately and is providing a full refund. Top marks to them for responsive customer service (and increasing the review score to two as a result)
