TilleyMen's Sun Hat

This is my second T3 traditional canvas hat. Don’t take me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the first one. The reason for the second hat is that I would like to have one at each location that I spend my time, one in Saudi Arabia, where I work and one at my home in Cyprus. I cannot do without one. I do a lot of desert exploration and I found that this hat performs exceptionally well, in the desert by providing sufficient shade, while comfortable. During severe sandstorms the secure fastenings of the hat, ensure that the hat remain where its supposed to be.After each wash it looks like it is just came out of the box. I have been recommending this model to all my colleague that spend time in the desert at temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius.You will never regret purchasing one.

This is the second Tilley hat of my life. The first , as guaranteed, is still in reasonable condition after travelling rough on every continent other than Antarctica. But I wanted a less 'knocked-about' new one for special occasions. Tilley hats are, as described, designed for a lifetime of rough wear. Never baulk at the price – they're value for money.

I am told that one of Tilley's hats was eaten by an elephant and survived the experience. I hope mine never suffers the same. I am very pleased with my hat which was given to me as a Christmas present. It looks very robust and fits as though it was made for me. It looks smart and I am looking forward to using it on my next adventure.

Bought this to replace another Tilley hat that had become a bit stained and battered after 13 years of use. This hat doesn't seem as comfortable, when I put it on so that it aligns with my head correctly the rim of the hat is at a slight angle, which is a bit annoying and means that I'm constantly shifting the hat around on my head.

Husband has always worn a Tilley hat come rain and shine. Only needed to replace the last one as he lost it.....alas, not whilst having an exciting adventure in the wilderness but dropped it while filling the car up at the petrol station. Good quality, hard wearing, easy to keep clean, best hat ever.

I seem to have tried so many hats in the past and no doubt have spent a small fortune trying to find the 'perfect' fit but be it the shape, look, fit or something else i have never been really happy. Until now...! My new Tilly T3 ticks all the boxes. A perfect fit and a great look (in my opinion!) and what can you say about a lifetime guarantee?! The hat is comfortable and while a loose fit as they should be, it feels snug enought to stay put on my head but not so tight that it will become hot or restrictive during the summer. Well worth spending the extra money a Tilly will cost you as i promise that this will be the only hat you ever need. I look forward to getting out there to show it off!

I love this hat! I originally saw this in a shop in Liverpool but they didn't have my size. Was quite a bit cheaper on AmazonThe hat is perfect for out walking my dogs. I also use it for fishing. Whether for keeping the sun or the rain off its perfect. The quality feels like it will last forever

It fits perfectly after careful measuring. Not too tight but doesn't fall off when bending forward. certainly keeps the sun off your head.
