Not so sure
A tale of two productsThere's the stake the steel rod that gets pounded into the ground nice sturdy appears to have some rust resistance characteristics attachment looks the same. This rod looks like I can do my own thing with it. Now it's the other part that is a little sketchy #12 wire appears to be aluminum I expected copper. Wire for a ground quality is copper clamp is more than good enough the connections are very good crimped solid and sealed at both ends . I've run across some ww2 House's wired with aluminum but then returned to copper after the war. The package box says "outdoor hardware" I wonder if I'm missing something. I'm not absolutely sure it's aluminum anyway it's so well sealed. At any rate I can get 6ft of #10 copper wire and a couple copper eyelets and do my own thing 1500watt invertor generator only 8.4 amps should be plenty. Gotta change. The nut for ground on the generator to a brass wing wing nut.paid $29.00 for the kit they sent if I had to do it over I might just want the steak and save some money. Overall I like it not sending it back. Good luck with it.

Compact and functional
Nice all in ground for generator. Not too long. Easy clamp to generator.

Pointy tip and hook on the top make this easy to use
The tip of this is sharpened to a point like an arrow bullet point. That makes it easier to insert in the ground. If the ground isn't frozen or baked, you should be able to shove this in without needing to beat it with a mallet. The hook on the top plus a piece of rope makes it easy to yank up out of the ground. The ground wire appears to be well made on the ends (big alligator clip is well attached and eyelet on the other end is too). This is a good product. I recommend this for anyone needing a temporary/mobile earth ground stake.
