Very nice
I buy multiple knives per year some for work sometimes because they are cool. My work knives usually get sharpened till they me fall out of the kydex sheath. I can never get factor edge just ok. This one is the perfect for work as blade change and cool as hell it’s a magic trick for someone that’s never seen

Great utility knife.
These make a great utility knife and edc knife. I have another survival knife in my kit to do what this one can’t. I like this one because I can use it for everything from opening a box, skinning a wire or dressing a deer. I don’t care if I nick or dull the edge because I just put another blade on it. Would recommend to others.

Nice grips and details, but some issues with the blade that limit this as an EDC.
The idea of a replaceable blade on an EDC style folding knife was initially very appealing, but I did not realize when ordering this, that the blades are a two piece design. But, let's start with the good, the grip panels are real carbon fiber and feel great in hand, the blue accents are a nice touch, the flipper works well enough, the blade release button functions as intended, and the liner lock feels sturdy and confidence inspiring. The knife comes with 4 standard blades like in the picture, and one combo serrated/smooth edge. The blades are all very sharp out of the box, and the spares are vacuum sealed, which is a premium touch. Looking around, I see replacement 4 packs of blades are available for $11, which seems like a fair price. Now, the issues, mainly the blade itself, which is the entire essence of a knife in the first place. The blade is a two piece design with an insert that the razor edge slides into and locks at the bottom with a single locking pin, while being held in place at the tip with a notch. The blade holder has visible tool marks on it (even in the promo photos) and a rough unfinished edge on all the non working surfaces (near the hinges) which doesn't align with the high quality seen elsewhere in the build. All surfaces wear a black finish, but the main issue is that the blade holder doesn't securely hold the blades. If you've felt a folding knife where the pivot screw was starting to loosen, that's the feel of the interface between the blades and the holder. So I would not recommend this knife for any detail work where precision is required, and because the holder has a deep internal groove that will be nearly impossible to clean, I can't recommend this knife for any dirty work where bacteria might be an issue, so no camping, cooking, or even cutting of food packages. The design is an interesting one, but I just can't figure out what it's good for. This seems like a more expensive, more complicated version of a box cutter/utility knife, which is honestly what I'm going to be using it for. I just can't justify spending ~75$ on a knife that I am only going to use for opening packages and breaking down boxes.4/5 stars, because it does seem to be a well put together, well packaged knife with some clever accessories, it just doesn't seem like a good EDC (where versatility is important), and the blade holder itself seems to be somewhat crude in it's manufacture, which is the most important component of the entire assembly. Outdoor Edge does make some cheaper versions of this style knife (without the CF accents) which might make the concept more appealing, and I would recommend checking those out first, if you're in the market for a replaceable blade folder. I'll be giving this knife a try in the coming weeks to see how it holds up as a utility knife, and will report back if I encounter any issues or surprises.

Razor VX4 4 week review.
I have been carrying this knife for four weeks now.The only reason I purchased the VX4 is because it had the cool lines carved in the Mikarta handle and I wanted to try a knife where you could put new blades in and never have to sharpen. What I have found out is that having the lines carved in the handle on the side of the pocket clip chews up the inner hem of your pants. Had the pocket clip side just been smooth it would have been the perfect design! The center alignment of the blade is perfect. The ceramic ball bearings give it only OK action, probably a 3 out of five. Also to disengage the lock blade is stiff and sticky. I'm keeping the knife and going to keep breaking it in but only wear it with my old jeans. Hopefully, this review helps the manufacturer fix those lines on the handle.

VERY sharp, easy to open, attractive, and well made!
As you can see in the attached pictures, this is a very attractive knife with nice features and accents. In fact, even the product packaging looks great and definitely puts this in the "giftable" category. Here are a few thoughts about this knife:- I cannot emphasize enough how sharp this knife is. I tested it against other knives that I own and it cut deeper, faster, and more easily than all of them.- The flipper mechanism on the knife is very responsive and it is not difficult to open the knife completely with a single finger motion (no wrist motion required whatsoever). With that said, this is not a flipper that is tuned so finely that it cannot be opened without fully engaging the blade. It is possible to cause the mechanism to "misfire" (opening the blade less than the full 180 degree locking position) with a gentle operation of the flipper mechanism. Similarly, the blade closes with just the right amount of positive pressure on the spine (after disengaging the locking mechanism), so one-handed operation is VERY easy.- The handle feels great in my hand and I am not even slightly concerned about it slipping. I wear a large glove, so anyone with a similarly sized hand should have the same experience.- The style of the knife is great. I was initially unsure if the blade release button and the locking/closing mechanism were bright blue, but upon receiving the knife I realized that they are more of a cobalt blue and they simply tend to look brighter in photographs. The carbon pattern on the handle looks great and even the pocket clip compliments the overall style of the knife.- Blade removal is very quick and easy. Simply push the button near the top of the handle, tug the blade out gently, and slide a new blade in place. It is worth noting that there is a VERY small amount of "wobble" (less than one degree) in the blade since it is an interchangeable item. This is not noticeable when in use and does not present a safety hazard (the blade is held very securely). In summary, this is a great knife with stylish and functional features. I definitely recommend it as a gift or as an addition to your EDC rotation.
