Urban Armor Gear consistently puts out some cool products. I like this heavy duty rope crossbody. It has a bit of heft and a bit of stretch. The hardware feels pretty sturdy except for the clip which I’m not super sure about. But the design is spot on and I’m gonna stick my phone in its UAG case and wear it around my neck lol.

This lanyard wad bundled with my clear phone case for Samsung S24 Ultra. A few hours use and the case was damaged.

This is definitely one of those products that what I got was kind of what I was expecting, but also kind of not. I was thinking that this was a lanyard that could hold your phone and I thought it would be perfect for my 10 year old to use when he takes a phone when he’s not at home. He’s just too young to trust with a phone but he also needs one sometimes.And it is kind of that, but also different. Basically it comes with a little plastic piece that you put inside of your phone case, it goes between your phone and the case. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with an Otterbox defender that’s MagSafe compatible and it fits perfectly fine. It will fit in I would say almost all phone cases. But what I wasn’t expecting is the little metal hoop that is attached to the plastic piece that goes inside your phone hangs out of where your charging port is. So if you have a phone case that has a charging port cover you will need to leave it open in order to use this.Once it’s in your case you’re good to go. You just have to clip the clip that is attached to the cord strap and that’s it. It does hold it securely and I have no doubt that it will hold, there is basically zero chance of it falling off somehow.Now the cord is definitely thicker than I thought it would be, and it’s also not as stylish looking as I thought it would be. But it does work for our needs. I just wasn’t expecting to have to have a metal hook sticking out of the charging port hole, and how thick the cord is.

I ordered the 10mm not realizing exactly how big that would be. It's a substantial size rope. However, there is an advantage to that! The rope is soft, and not very heavy. Being larger, it is comfortable to wear and not as abrasive as a thinner cord.One slight disadvantage is that the piece that fits inbetween your phone and case makes it more of a challenge to insert the charger.
