Great phono amp
Good stuff, im using it with Loki mini. Sounds amazing, I have YAmaha AS2200 and Audio Technica LP120 vinyl player all this connected sounds like AS3200 yamaha and way cheaper saved 3k instead paying 9k for AS3200.

Maybe The Best Phono Preamp I've Ever Owned/ UPDATE!!!
Let me start off by saying audio is always subjective and what matters is what's appealing to the listeners ear.I'm a big believer in tube amplification, but after many phono preamps, I believe solid state is the way to go when pairing into your main tube amplifier. You can over do the tube sound and add too much distortion through the chain. A good solid state phono preamp, going into a nice tube amp, with a good cartridge and speakers has given me audio bliss. My turntable is Technics. I own several cartridges, both MM and MC in the $500 to $1500 range. My speakers are updated Klipsch Heresy series 1, with two 10 inch Klipsch subwoofers. All powered by my updated 1962 Dynaco ST 70.The Schitt Skoll really ties it all together and while not quite Audiophile grade, it's very good and I don't believe you're going to find a system without spending many thousands of dollars that equals it's sound. Again, that's subjective. I'm a big believer in speaker placement, and phono cartridge alignment. What's in the middle matters, but is not as important as the beginning (cartridge/stylus) and the end (speakers) of the chain. The Schiit Skoll is quiet, very neutral and allows the cartridge and speakers to do their job. The build is excellent and made of heavy high quality aluminum and has good weight.I want to hear my recording the way it was originally mixed in the studio if possible. I've owned maybe two dozen different phono stages in my life and this one is incredibly good. Being able to switch out a headshell on the fly and adjust the settings to match through the remote is very nice. I'm not going to get into clarity, tone or separation as again, that's all according to the users ears. I'll just leave by saying I personally don't think you will find a better preamp in this price range that sounds this good, with all the features and an added remote anywhere. An added bonus is, it's made in the United States with all labor and parts made in Texas and California.UPDATE!!! So now it's been 9 months later and the Skoll has developed a left channel buzz. After trying new cables, and even a couple of older preamps. I determined that the buzz was definitely coming from the Skoll. I did some online research and this is a widespread issue. Many customers are having this same issue. I contacted Schiit and ran through their troubleshooting and was issued a repair number since it was still under warranty. I shipped it (at my cost) and a couple days later received an email saying they could not find an issue and shipped it back. It still buzzes and is annoying as heck. Meanwhile my 5 year old phono preamp is dead silent using the same cables and placed in the same position as the Skoll. I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this unit or Schiit. They know there is an issue and are sidestepping the problem. Oh, and they do not provide any test measurements of their findings. They just tell you everything is within spec. BUYER BEWARE!

Super Phono Stage!
Super phono stage! This unit offers expansive soundstage and increased depth of image. Clarity is improved too. It’s extremely versatile as capacitance and resistance can be adjusted on the fly via remote. I’m using it with a Ortofon 2M Blue with outstanding results! Now I enjoy my vinyl over streamed content and CDs! Holy Schiit!

Incredible product
This thing makes my Ortofon Quintet Blue MC cartridge sound so good. A huge plus is the remote; it makes swapping carts fast and easy. I have a collection of vintage 78s that I have to use a different cart for playback. Plus the XLR in/out with the standard RCA in/out is great. Top-notch phono amp for the price.

Incredible Performance/ Best in class
Another very high quality Phono amp, by Schiit, pronounced as Skit. Super quiet and flexible. The Mani 2 is the best at its price point. This phono preamp is even better. It has widened out the sonics by 10-20%. I’m hearing things I had not heard before. 10/10

Great Schiit (Sholl)
I've been "tinkering" with the analog components of my audio system as I play more of my large vinyl collection. After researching phono preamps I decided on this Schiit Sholl model. Only been running it for a few hours but I'm impressed with the robust build and sound quality. The setup is a breeze and the remote control facilitates resistive and capacitive loading which makes swapping cartridges a breeze. Highly recommend.
