I can't say enough about this peel. It's easy to use for home peelers. Very user friendly and just great results with a small down time of approximately 35 hours approxHI, I am on Peel #2. I only kept on 5-6 minutes on the glycolic last step as I am cautious. I could have left it on much longer for the 2nd peel, but I got a great smooth result. Peel #2 cleaned up my pores better and my complexion is 100 percent better. I would keep the screw caps of the Gly and Sal bottles and I feel they keep the integrity of the product. So take off the pump and use screw caps. Other than that Perfect result. I have 8 hour downtime on 2nd peel.

Pay very close attention to the directions that come with this kit because it matters. I am not all that sure how I feel about it because it makes my skin burn. I have real sensitivity to this kind of thing and it really irritates my face. Proceed with caution on this one its not for the faint of heart.

The documentation provided in this peel kit was truly outstanding. It covered every possible aspect of an acid peel treatment, from warnings to detailed application instructions. Even though I am experienced in using AHA and BHA acids, I appreciated learning more about their benefits – so I can see first-time or inexperienced acid peel users benefitting from the in-depth information in the kit.The acids came packaged in bottles without their plastic pumps inserted. This was a nice touch, because it ensured that the acids would remain as sterile and non-degraded as possible prior to their initial usage.Unfortunately, the neutralizer solution spray somewhat leaked out of its bottle during shipping. When I removed it from its box, I saw that there was crystallized solution on the outside of the glass bottle. I wonder if there is a way that the company can ensure that when this bottle is shipped, it’s secured so leakage won’t occur. especially given that there seemed to be a fair amount missing.For the separate stages of the peeling treatment:• Peel Prep: Was lightly scented, but the fragrance wasn’t irritating.• Salicylic Acid: Was unscented. Upon application to my skin, it caused a whiteish cast. I dispersed the product via its pump, and the acid was liquid.• Glycolic Acid: Was unscented. Didn’t cause any temporary discoloration of skin upon application. I dispersed the product via its pump, and the acid was a gel of medium thickness.I applied both acids for the minimum specified time; even though I am an experienced user of both acids, I wanted to see how they performed per their instructions for new users.• Neutralizer Solution: Was easy to spray from its bottle and slightly foamed upon contact with the acids – which I expected.After rinsing the neutralized acids, my skin was somewhat sensitive to the touch – but again, this was nothing out of the ordinary for this type of acid peel. I applied my own hyaluronic acid serum to the area after drying it, in addition to a basic hydrating lotion.The entire treatment went very well, and I look forward to using this kit for increasing periods of time on my face, and areas of my body experiencing slight discoloration.

This is a good bit more expensive than what I've paid for other brands of peels, but if you're not accustomed to doing DIY peels, this is a great set. I've regularly done 70% glycolic peels, so I didn't have any problems with the 50%. Just be sure to pay attention to instructions, and do the absolute minimum time if you're new to these. I also like that includes salicylic acid, as it can get into the pores since it's oil soluble. I've never used an actual neutralizer, but it's handy it's in here, especially for those who are new and experience irritation. I'm very happy with this!

I have sensitive skin, so I have to be extra careful with products like this. But this left me red even going much easier than recommended. Those with hardier skin may have less trouble, and I know some "downtime" is to be expected. Just be careful with the usage and plan for a day or two or redness and peeling.
