I need knee support when running or at the gym.I've previously used thicker supports, but found these too restricting around the joint and they kept slipping, which started started to ruin my runs having to hike them up all the time, etc. So I wanted a thinner, compression like support, and came across this - decided to give it a try.The material is light and thin (more like traditional compression garments), so doesn't necessarily provide firm support - I'll still need to wear a knee brace when skiing for example - but it still relieves the pain when running. This is exactly what I needed, pain relief without restricted range of motion.The rubberised grip is perfect - doesn't pull at my knee hair and remains completely in place. Haven't tried on longer than 6k runs yet, but for at least 6k it hasn't slipped once.I don't notice it when running, but it definitely warms up the knee nicely, with no pain.Going to order another one for my other knee (one per pack), and have recommended to friends who also have similar issues. Great value too.

Fatastic product, light and soft material. However if you are closer to the upper bounds of thier sizes I would recommend going for a size up. They are a nice tight fit. Also it’s a shame the logo is only pronted on, this starts to peel off after a few wears. Otherwise all in all it is a great product provide the right amount of support of my sports injured knee and it’s not heavy or bulky or movement constricting. Plenty of flexibility and it stays on all day, with minimal slippage.

My Mom suffers from arthritis in her knees. They've been keeping her awake at night with pain for years. She has a prescription cream (Fenbid) she can rub in, but it's only effective for a short while. I looked at all the knee supports on Amazon, and quickly came to the conclusion these seemed by far the best quality - with all positive reviews. So I decided to buy her two for Christmas. But rather than wait another three months, I told her she could have them early (being the nice son I am!)Mom agreed to try just the one overnight - with the idea of being able to send the unopened pack back, as ionocore seem to be really good that way, judging by the other reviewers. I came down in the middle of the night to find the other pack had been opened and left in the bathroom... but the Fenbid cream hadn't been left out after being used like it usually was. When quizzed in the morning, she said the "trial" knee had worked so well that she'd decided put the second support on the other knee too.Mom's been wearing them both every night for a fortnight now, putting them on an hour before going to bed. She only occasionally has to put some Fenbid cream on her worst knee. She's sleeping so much better at night now. So well in fact, she's been "late" up several times - having slept through her regular 06:45 getting-up time. This has had the adverse effect of me having to wait for my breakfast porridge to be made! 8)The manufacturing quality of the knee support is excellent. They've put a lot of thought into them. There's a soft rubbery strip around the top, so as to stop them creeping down your legs. Inside the lower portion is a list of components used to make them, and useful instructions on how to wash them. The only defect we've found is the copper leaf of the logo gradually flakes off.The knee support's high copper content, compression and heat really seem to have helped my Mom. She's very pleased with them!

Fits well and will not slip or move. Just does not feel as if it is giving any support or relief. The material looks more like some ladies thick nylons or stockings.

I've recently been diagnosed with torn cartilage and arthritis in my right knee and at the age of 46 the Consultant won't give me a new one so I need to manage the situation and crack on. I've been wearing a tubular bandage for 5 months, using cooling gels and taking prescription anti-inflammatories (actually for the arthritic hips!! I sound calamitous but am really not!!) but the swelling hasn't reduced and my knee has buckled on occasion. Until now. The ionocore knee support has reduced the swelling in 5 days that the tubular bandage could not help in 5 months. I can walk downstairs properly again rather than taking each step at a time with both feet as the knee support, well, supports my knee. It's like a second skin. When I opened the package I must admit I felt a little short changed as the product is so compact. I didn't believe such a small item could help. How wrong I was. I wear the knee support pretty much all the time it's so comfortable. The sizing instructions were perfect too. If in doubt, buy it. You'll be more mobile than you've been in months. Just in time to combat the impending mince pie season.

If you are sedentary this support stays where you want it. However, try and walk in it and it will slip down your lower leg. I measured my upper knee area and purchased the recommended size from the chart. The support I received was very tight at the bottom end to the point of cutting off circulation. The top of the support despite having the 'special grippy wavy bits' was loose and just slipped down every time I moved a few yards. I've now returned this suboptmal product as it is not fit for purpose.
