Great video, perfect fit for my truck
There is nothing that I don’t love about this! It is so sleek you can barely tell it’s there. High-quality playback front and rear. I have this in my 2015 Sierra Denali. It’s a perfect fit.

Wonderful Product Easy Installation GMC Yukon XL 2024
I normally don't write reviews, and I was on the fence buying this because there were not a lot of reviews and the reviews were somewhat like an written by people who had some sort of incentive. Anyways, after pulling the trigger and receiving the dashcam, I took my time reading all instructions, I will separate what my experiences are.I bought the Model A for the GMC Yukon XL 2024, make sure you order the correct dashcam set for your car. I also bought the front/rear camera dashcam. Please be advised that if you are planning to buy the front camera now and add the rear camera in the future, DON’T! As per instructions or FAQs, the two camera system has a different PCB, therefore there is no plug for the rear camera if you initially bought the front camera only setup.Installation:Well documented, there are tons of links on the app on how to install it for different cars, pretty much same video, but it is the same way for most of the cars anyways. Listing on Amazon also has a video, very straight forward. If you are first time installing this, prying the rear view console might be scary, but trust yourself it is pretty simple. There is a new way of installing this dashcam, the Temp Sensor module, in the box they included a detailed instructions for it. Installing So there are 3 options to install this dashcam, temp sensor, auto dimming rearview mirror plug, and the OBD plug (which I think is too much of a hassle). Installation was a breeze, again if you are doing this the first time, sometimes it can get tricky and scary coz you feel like you will break something, but it will be ok.App Installation and Connection:Pretty much straight forward and you don’t need to be an IT person to install or connect to the camera. The instructions also warns you that there is only one bluetooth connection that you can use at one point. You will need to connect through wifi, but it will interfere if you are connected to your car via bluetooth. So if the phone you are using is connected to your car through CarPlay/Android Auto then you have to disconnect the bluetooth connection or forget the car first, or use another tablet or phone that is not connect to the camera you just installed and configure it. You will also have to connect to it if you want to download the videos, or you can also remove the storage disk and plug it to any PC/Mac and export the videos. As far as I know, if you again try to connect to your camera through wifi to download videos it will be better to turnoff your car or if you need your car running, just disconnect from your car.Bottom line, this is newly installed, hoping it will last a few years. But so far I’m loving it and proud of myself installing it. I have not installed the rear camera yet, but looking at the video instructions, it looks like it is easy as well.Pros:Well worth the money, less expensive if you go through the dealer, dealer is charging me $500 plus $220 installation.Easy installationLooks and feel like an OEM.Good PriceCons:Our OEM sun shade is no longer flush into the windshield.

Impressed so far!
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical because I've never heard of the brand, but this dash cam is great! Looks factory, easy access to the SD card, and great video quality. Connecting to the camera via wifi can be painful because Android Auto wants to take over the connection...so setup was rough, but I bought an SD card reader for my phone so I have access to the videos if I need them. No more need to connect with wifi unless I want to change settings. Super happy with it!

stuck in a bootloop, hard to un-install
At the time of buying this, all the other reviews (all positive) were provided by people who were gifted the item.I was most impressed with the harness. It seemed well made and padded in order ensure it didn't make noise when installed in the mirror surround. After I installed the unit with the harness, thankfully I tested it before clipping in the new overhead surround. Mine would not stop boot-looping. It just restarted itself over and over after verbally indicating that it was recording. I was unimpressed with uninstalling the harness. It was VERY difficult to remove from and I had to use a screwdriver to pry it apart. Also the single clip of the surround that I put in was also very difficult to remove. Buyer beware, if you fully install this, you're pretty much stuck with it since removal will almost certainly damage your car. Also, before you install, you should hook it up to OBDII power to make sure you can live with the audio indicator that recording is starting. I can imagine that there are a set of you out there who are not willing to live with that audio prompt every time you start your car. Since there is no screen and everything is app driven, you may be able to change that, I just wasn't able to check since mine would restart constantly.

Does not record continuously
I like the OEM look of this camera, however, when plugged into the OBD II port of my Yukon XL Denali, it constantly beeps and then announces that it is starting to record. When I checked the files on the card, there are gaps in the coverage.I tried to use the adapter to plug it into the mirror, but the instructions are to cut a section out of the headliner and tuck the connector up under the headliner. I tried that route, but on the Yukon, there is a solid metal box under the headliner at the position where the connector needs to go.

Looks factory after install!
I purchased this particular dash cam because I wanted a "factory" look in my 2022 Yukon and this product does just that, you can't tell it is even there. So far It is now working just fine and produces nice clear video on playback. I had an issue with buffering during playback and support was very helpful in resolving the issue. For GM owners using Android Auto you must disable it and Bluetooth to get smooth playback and it now works just fine. You only need to do this if there is an accident or something you need to see otherwise it is all automatic when you start the car.
