Doesn't break easily, the powder produced is of rather large particles, so it settles and doesn't stay in the air.The colors are great.

This is really good chalk; it's definitely worth the money. You should know, however, that you get 24 pieces of red and 12 of the others. In my opinion, red is the worst of the five because it's not very bright on the board.I've used Hagoromo chalk for many years. I was told that the company shut down and stopped producing new chalk. For a while the price had skyrocketed but this was closer to the old price. I don't know if they changed their minds or if they sold the name to another company or if there's another explanation. I can say that this chalk is at least a very good approximation of what I'd used for years.Also, for what it's worth, my box didn't have any broken pieces.

Just what I expect from this brand, Colors are bright and writing is creamy. My product arrived with 2 broken sticks but that's not much of an issue.

I bought the 5-color version. As you might be able to see from the pictures, the box had bubble wrap around it, and there was styrofoam between the individual pieces of chalk. None of my pieces were broken. I included a picture of each color tested on a chalkboard. The chalk writes smoothly and erases just as easily. I genuinely have no complaints and only praise for this chalk.

If you're one of the 9 teachers left who still use a blackboard THIS is the chalk you need. Added bonus, it shows up on camera for live streaming very well. Packaging was very secure and none of the chalk arrived damaged.

Love the chalk, but the packaging isn't so hot. The whole first row (pink) was broken.
