I ordered a similar item to this previously which unfortunately did not hold up very well, it was dropped shortly after receipt which caused one of the magnets to come loose and so does not work as well as it once did. This one on the other hand I decided to compare with it and am happy to report that it stood up to the issue just fine. The toy is a small pair of rounded metal rectangles connected by a pivot and clicked along each other by magnets, giving some satisfying tactile and audible feedback (the clicks are the whole point of the magnets after all). Unfortunately, being so small it can be awkward to use, particularly with how grippy the magnets are. Once you're used to it though the weight is good and the action works fine. Worth a look if you're in the market.

Two metal cards that pivet around a bottom corner. They are held in place by magnets. This does mean that there are only three distinct position which the cards can take so they do not slide smoothly between them instead it jumps. Personally I would have prefered smooth movement.Build quality seems good and they have a satisfying weight to them.
