Plug and play - that’s how you want a purchase to go
Not one to leave reviews but it’s such an awesome expansion of screen real estate for a good price and in a practical form factor. Super stoked to expand my work laptop daily working fields for spreadsheets or maps. A little heavy if you wanted to carry around along with a laptop (papers read it’s 4 lbs; definitely feels solid folded up), but I’m indifferent as this probably just lives on the desk. I do front the wall based on my own home office layout so looking above my laptop screen feels really functional and my neck appreciates the ergonomics. Some people reviewed a whirring or high pitch sound when the screen was powered on, but I didn’t notice any perceptible sound even with a low speed ceiling fan on above me. I’d even but a second one of these. Best part, it arrived super fast and well packaged, so thanks for that seller.

Incredible design, faulty wiring
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product 3 months ago and I loved it so much. It is perfect for traveling as the monitor floating above the laptop does not disturb the other passengers like side monitors. I am actually writing this review while using the monitor at home.Unfortunately, my screen has recently begun to flicker and blink with static making it almost impossible to use. The flickering will stop for a few moments and then start up again. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the USB-C cords into other ports on my computer and the issue persists.I am very frustrated, as I have grown to rely on this product for work and many of my clients have even commented on its design and simplicity. I hope that Mobile Pixels can make this right, I would hate to lose this invaluable asset to my traveling business.

Fun to unfold
Lines right up with laptop. I put the magnets on my laptop case. Was freaked out about putting magnets on a computer. Comes with a stencil so you can align the magnets exactly and easily on whatever surface you choose. Also comes with extra stickers in case they need to be replace. Haven't need to replace the stickers and it's been months. I love putting the extended display about my laptop screen so I don't have to swivel. You can also flip the screen away from you so the person sitting across from you can see. Pretty cool. Haven't figured out the touch screen part yet but that's not what I bought it for LOL. Probably because I have a macbook.

Great concept but…
It’s a bit cumbersome to set up and quite heavy but the main reason I returned this is because it has a buzz when it’s on. If you don’t notice high pitched noises or aren’t bothered by it then go for it. It’s much easier on the neck then a side by side and takes up less space which was very appealing to me. The weight was also a bit of an issue for me. I travel for work and this was a bit too heavy for my liking.

This is what I have been looking for
When thinking about buying a portable monitor, it's important to see how it fits into your life. Portable monitors are super handy and do a lot of cool stuff. They're slim and light, perfect for people who are always on the move, like professionals or digital nomads. Perfect!!

Only choice for Stacked Monitor over laptop
3.5-starsPros:- I wanted a screen over my laptop. This works. - Great resolution.- Short cable is great.- Seems sturdy and high-quality. I don’t have the buzz everyone else mentions.Cons:- It is heavier than my 16” laptop- It “attaches” to your laptop via magnets that are semi-permanently attached to the backside of your laptop screen using stickers. Not only are they an eyesore, but a protrusion that easily grabbed upon when sliding in and out of my backpack.- It needs to be held up without the kickstand. Similar to the side attached monitors.Recommendation: Make a version that attaches to the laptop or use the laptops weight to hold the monitor above the laptop screen. Make it usable on an airplane tray table (ideally). Let it have “arms” that grab the laptop but are never attached to the laptop like the magnet. Ideally, reduce the weight. This product is meant for mobile users.Last, and the least of my concerns- cost. For the same cost on Amazon, you can get two standalone 4k stacked monitors, although they would make my laptop monitor an annoyance as it would be off to the side. I may try them out next and then just stow my laptop away.

The best I've got that has built in riser. Buzzing can be fixed by a firmware update.
I use this monitor in the office and at home when I don't have access to my permanent larger monitor.Pros:built in riser that puts be neck in a better position for 9 hour daysfolds up into a protective case, this monitor is not getting damaged in my laptop bagCons:Poor resolution. I am in a lot of meetings with shared high rez screens and this monitor sometimes just doesn't cut it. If you work alone most of the time, it might be fine, but for screenshare, this might not do the job.Had to install a firmware update to get rid of buzzing noise.Final Note: Don't worry about the buzz! Go to the website for support and they have an article on how to fix the issue. It takes some time, but it's pretty easy.
