Excellent value
Great resource based on clear presentation of concepts with good examples. The tradeoffs with getting this International Student Version [instructional content identical to US textbook but section/chapter end problems often have different coefficient values, so cross checking against US Student Handbook is not one-to-one; the ISV is printed in B&W (shades of grey really) but a color PDF of US textbook version can be found on the internet; the ISV is printed on thin newsprint vs heartier paper stock] are acceptable given the significant savings realized vs the US textbook version cost.Note that the ISV does not include the following two section and corresponding chapters that are included in the US textbook version:PART F Optimization, GraphsCHAPTER 22 Unconstrained Optimization. The title is a very good summary of what you can expect from this book
It explains from start with an understandable approach so the text flows like a charm.It is sad I am too lazy to do the exercises I think I could miss something this way.For that reason it is very likely that I will read it more than once...

Good quality binder - glue holds well snd binder doesn't come apart
Arrived in good condition. Not too hard to read compared to other text books, but that's not necessarily saying much.

Missing probability and statistics
Advanced Engineering Mathematics, 10Th Ed, IsvThis review is for the soft-cover, International edition of Advanced Engineering Mathematics.For the most part this seems to be an okay textbook (I have not used it much yet). However, it has the distinct problem of missing the entire section on probability and statistics, a requirement for my class.Despite this problem, I'm still giving the book three stars as it is so much less expensive than the hardcover edition, and the rest of the content is identical.EDIT:I have lowered my review to one star because, after completing the homework I found the problems are different from the regular US edition, despite the content of the chapter being the same. Also, some of the problems are the same so it is very difficult to check beforehand.

Pathetic seller
Printed on a low quality paper. ToC has ticks on it. Seems like seller is selling pre-owned books.
