Easier than it looks
I was really afraid using this method of drilling, then using the second bit to ream out the hole, was going to be very inconsistent and a pain, but it was actually much easier then I expected. I actually bought a whole second set of just the bits in different sizes from a different vendor thinking that would be easier. It was easier, but the bits wore out really quick and overall it was much more expensive than this method. I recommend this method and bits. It is the better way to do it.

Keep it wet with soapy water when using.
Pleasantly surprised. I've drilled 5 glazed pots with one of the 1/4" bits to run drip line through and it has worked well. PRO-TIP: spray with soapy water as you go. Keep it really wet. I haven't cracked a pot yet.I've got another 15 pots to go so I'll see how it holds up. This is not a lifelong bit. I'm hoping to get 10-15 pots per bit.

Good value for the money
Probably not the highest quality diamond bits in the world, but considering the price, they are great. Had to drill through the hardest porcelain tile I have ever encountered in my life. The bit managed eight holes before burning up. Probably could have prolonged their life if I kept the bit and hole wet, but unfortunately I was born with only two arms, so couldn't drill and spray at the same time.

Does the Job
You would have to use the smaller bit first, and work your way up to the Half inch bit if that is the size hole that you want. I just made three bottom holes and the bits seems to be worn out, but it did do the job.

Economical Solution for my DIY door project.
I purchased this kit to drill the anchor hole for a double front door with a new marble sill. It did the job and the price was right. I may never use it again, but it's in the tool stand now just in case.

Ceramic and clay pots drilled
I ordered these drills to put holes in my ceramic and pottery pots that did not have any holes. They were easy to use and they worked really well. I did 8 pots and all were fine.I would recommend having these on hand if you are a garderner.

Easily cuts holes in ceramic pots and planters.
These worked great to core holes in my indoor ceramic planters to make the suitable for outside use, allowing excess rainwater to escape above 2".The video of how to move the bit is important to watch and understand before you begin.

Bits for Porcelain Tile
I purchased 2 sets thinking I will need a back up set. the first set drilled all the holes in the picture and still is as sharp as they came. I drilled 12 holes with the 1/4" bit and it is still sharp. The tile in the picture is porcelain. Will definitely purchase again when needed.
