This is fantastic. I'm not going to bother making homemade dashi stock any more. 2 Cups water per packet.Simmer a few minutes, done. Toss in some diced tofu and wakame, great lunch in 10 min.

This dashi stock is a game changer! I used it for miso soup, but it’s also perfect for fish stock in so many other recipes. Great flavor, super easy to use, and now a permanent staple in my cupboard. Will definitely buy again and again!

Makes cooking Miso soup so simple.

I’m new to this and I only know what I’ve read. Instructions are rather vague but I haven’t ruined anything yet. The flavor is more subtle than I expected; I have a neat microwave rice cooker so I make up a batch of dashi and replace the cup & 1/2 of water with the dashi. Like I said, the flavor is extremely subtle. I do use it - maybe it’s an acquired taste.

I've bought this many times and it is fantastic. i use it along with Miso to make Sardine/Oyster Udon and I've completely fallen in love with how it tastes.
