Great Selection of Flat miniatures
These miniatures are a fantastic option for miniatures for roleplaying games. The acrylic minis themselves are solid and don't bend easily while having great art. Some of the art is a bit dark, but it appears that they do that thematically when appropriate for the specific monster. The set also comes with 40 acrylic bases to stand the flat minis into, which work fantastically. They sit in the stand securely, and the bases themselves are standard sized, so they can accomodate various other accessories such as condition rings. There is a focus on variety here, with almost all of the 173 miniatures being different from each other. There are some overlaps, such as different positions for a couple of drow swordsmen for example, but for the most part, the pieces are unique monsters. The one downside is that for smaller enemies, you're usually going to need more than 1 miniature to represent the group of them the party is fighting, but it works great for the larger threats. This set probably isn't cost-effective enough to buy multiple times to get those, but in either case, these are still way cheaper than the equivalent number of miniatures, and you can proxy in other standees as needed. It would be great if they had some packs of, say, a bunch of goblins, orcs, kobolds, etc... or even some generic monsters of just a given silhouette to be used as generic monsters. All in all, a great purchase if you're running a TTRPG in person.

Sorceress Approved
Yours truly is a Lv. 5 Sorceress (yay! I just got Metamagic!). My ILs started the group and we play in person at my mother & father-in-law's home. Most of us have never played before and are unfamiliar with all of the various "monsters" that we may encounter. That is why I ordered these to give to our DM so that he can use them to show us the various things that he decides to torment us with. These are well made. They come in a little box and have the stands separate. It is my intention that he will leave the stands off and just throw the box in his DM bag and then only add the stand to the miniature that we are using at that time. With the quality and number of miniatures included I think that this is a good price.

Portable Powerhouse of Miniatures
I can't believe how much this DND Starter Set has elevated our gaming sessions. The variety of 2d miniatures, from NPCs to epic bosses, makes every campaign feel fresh and exciting. The lightweight, durable design is perfect for on-the-go gaming, and the 40 assorted bases mean my flying creatures finally have proper representation. For anyone looking to boost their 5e d&d or Pathfinder experience, these miniatures are a must-have. Fantastic value for accesorios dungeons & dragons fans!
