Generic Metal Grease Filter for Howdens forLamona HJA2450 HJA2540 Cooker Hood (Silver, 320 x 260mm)

I just couldn’t get these filters to fit into my cooker hood no matter how hard I tried then realised it was because one side was about a millimetre longer than the other. Not a lot but enough to make them unusable. I contacted the seller requesting a valid return code and they responded they sell hundreds of these and never had a complaint and wanted photographs. I don’t know about anyone else but trying to photograph such a small size difference is almost impossible so I wasn’t able to do this. Instead and, therefore unable to get a valid return code to get a refund, my husband took the filters apart, removed the mesh screens and clips and fitted them into the frames of the ones we wanted to replace. They fitted properly into the cooker hood. Very poor customer service from this company.

The lugs on the end of these filters are not in the right place for certain hood models, even though the model is on the list these 'fit'. They are also a very tight (persuaded with a few light taps) fit front to back.

Good replacement, it does fit onto my extraction hood, however it was a very tight and fiddly fit. It appears to be just a tad to large. Approximately 1mm, not much you would think but getting them aligned and in place very tricky and needed some force in the corners.

Only sent one out when I brought two and didn’t fit measurements are wrong on the description

This just arrived was well packages so you can imagine my surprise and upset when I opened it to realise it was bashed an had 6 screws missing which made it loose, cheaply made and also has sticky marks all over it - contacted seller to get a refund or replacement!

Perfect for my extractor as my old ones needed replacing.

Item is approximately 1mm too long to fit in the hood recess (HJA2540)
