Amazingly good cartridge razor.
I've tried many different cartridge razors over the years. This is one of the best I've used in over 45 years of shaving. I use Feather products in DE razors. Their blades are extremely sharp and their DE razors are extremely high quality. This is the first time I've been able to purchase a cartridge razor from this brand, and I'm very happy with how sharp the blades are and how well made the handle is. The pivoting head works extremely well and the size of the handle is quite hand filling, along with being very easy to grip and use, even with wet, slippery fingers. The blades are sharp and comfortable to use. Even after a couple of weeks they have remained sharp enough so as not to tug on the hairs or cause any irritation. The only downside is that there is no secondary blade on the back of the cartridge to get into the tight area under your nose. Not a big deal though since I can maneuver this razor in tight enough to get a close shave even in that area. Very pleased with this product and hopefully the blades will be available for a while to come. I did order enough of them to last me a couple of years, just in case they do become unavailable in the future. Great product, made in Japan with that true Japanese quality we've come to expect.

Works very well.
An improvement over Harry's (been using Harry's for many years), very little drag on my skin, the tilting head works well at the angle of the jaw. Also a closer shave than Gillette. The reduced drag is partially due to the coating of the blade and partially due to the blade design. The coating wears off after 3-4 uses. If you have sensitive skin, this may be important. The Gillette is a good choice for traveling, smaller in size. Very close in performance to the Feather 3.

Doesn’t match Feather brand expectations.
Razor is very comfortable to use. It is large, but is comfortable in my larger hands. Handle has a nice rubber coating which gives you a great positive feel. This won’t slip in your hands. The fail on this razor is the shave is no where near as close as other brand name blades, even comparing other three blade razors. I expected a much closer shave from feather.I imagine if you have sensitive skin, this would be a win. I would like to see another cartridge by Feather that was a closer shave. Then keep the current one for sensitive skinned shavers. Would be a super combination.

Perfect for beginners and sensitive skin
Not the closest shave I've had but definitely one of the best! The razor is fairly large but maneuvers well and cuts with minimal pressure. Beware the guards help keep your face intact but you do need to keep a shaving routine to avoid your hair from getting to long for the blades. If you are new to shaving or have particularly sensitive skin this should help give you confidence and a reasonably close shave for a great price!

Bad design
It has unnecessary parts and is bulky to use. It has a large piece of plastic coming off the head that you can use to pivot the head up and down, which it already has the ability at the head.

Best razor I've owned
For most of my life, I've used Gillette products. I started back in the 80's with the Atra, then moved to the Sensor, and then used the Mach 3 since it was released back in the 90's. Didn't care for the Fusion because it clogged up too easily. I even used their old double edged safety razors as Marine when I was in the field. That ended when Gillette decided to run the ad telling me what a horrible person I was for being a man. I tried a few different Schick razors but none of them really worked for me. I came across the Feather F3 while searching other items and decided to give it a try. I'm darned glad that I did. Best shave of my life, and much less expensive than Gillette or Schick. Time to stock up on blades.

Great looking razor with the renowned Feather quality.
During the first couple of shaves, the cartridges are very sharp. Later they start to behave and become very smooth. Smaller cartridges than your usual Mach3 but not as longeve. I can get 10 shaves with a Feather cartridge VS. 15 with a Mach3. But I don't push them, I change them as soon as I feel they start to degrade

A really clumsy razor, but it's the only way to use Feather blades
I used Harry's razors and blades for many years, but their quality faded when they were bought by Gillette. I wanted to switch to Feather blades, and discovered that this ugly and clumsy thing is the only way to do that. So I use it every morning, and I cuss at it every morning for being impossible to store and difficult to clean.
