Mens Vintage Hollywood Tuxedo Costume

The material was too wrinkled and wouldn’t reform - ironing melted the lapels. The shirt was great and worked well. It’s a half shirt and that was fine. The pants fit a size 12 snug. This was the lowest end price and served a purpose as a costume dress up but I wouldn’t wear again.

I bought this costume as a canvas for my Halloween costume last year, and I have to say, I worried that everything would fall apart before I even go the chance to wear it. The buttons started coming off right out of the package, and the coat was so wrinkled. I didn't bother ironing it because it feels like it's going to burst in flames the second I place an iron on top of it.Fortunately, it did hold up 'til the 31st, and I got compliments on my costume (although I think this owes more to what I ended up doing than the quality and appearance of this tuxedo costume).

I wasn't expecting much from a $35 tuxedo, but this is horrible. I read the other review that the jacket was thin, but he gave it three stars. The jacket is so thin is is see-through. The lapels are lined with a shiny fabric to look like satin, but the shiny stuff is about half and inch wider than the lapel, so it sticks out and you can see the edges. It's like you just laid a piece of fabric over the jacket. The buttons are glued on, and there was glue on the jacket.The pants are ridiculous. To fit such a wide range, there is a LOT of elastic in the back and so much fabric it looks like you're wearing a diaper.I knew it was a shirt front - not a shirt, but this thing is just silly. It's more like a shirt apron. It has strings to tie it around the neck and at the bottom - and that POS jacket is not going to cover the strings on your neck. The bow tie is hilariously tiny - it's about 2.5" wide, at the most. The cummerbund is also silly. It just ties around you. And I'm pretty sure the knot & extra fabric would stick out of the jacket.I don't expect much from costumes in a bag, but this didn't even meet my low, low expectations. It is essentially unwearable. I honestly don't think the model is really wearing it in the picture. If I could give it no stars, I would.

I purchased this for a costume for the Rocky Horror Picture show. I am female so of course it is going to fit me differently. I can not use the pants as they are too large, but the jacket will work perfectly, even though it is a bit too large. I am size 10 and ordered the Standard size. I am not sure why some people thought this was so cheesy..it really is not for the price. I have ordered costumes that have been far worse and more expensive. I checked all of the seams and everything seems to be just fine. Once it is steamed, it will look great!!

Broad shoulders, cheap material

Paired with an actual pique shirt, vest, and bowtie, it looks like the real deal! Just be extra careful ironing because you could fry the jacket a little.

I needed the coat to this costume. It was very thin but it worked for my needs!
