I just bought the 2013 BMW 528i and has some minor cosmetics issues that I know would bother me eventually. This was one of them. Amazon for the win! There’s not much you cannot find on Amazon these days. The part delivered on time on prime 2-day. It took 5 minutes to install. The kit came with a couple of pry tools. The round pry tool was useful in removing adhesive around the plate prior to prying it off. The longer pry tool was no good. It’s plastic, small and the tip broke almost immediately. Use your own pry tool or thin flat head screwdriver. Pry gently. It’s a thin plate. Only time will tell if the adhesive lasts but it looks much better than the old finger-nail scratched plate.

When trying to find the right part, couldn’t find one that said specifically that it fits the 230i. I ordered this because it LOOKED like the right shape (and I already had one that didn’t fit because I thought it was the right one). It worked great.My only issue was removing the old decal. The plastic removal tool bent and wouldn’t remove it. I had to use a screwdriver and left a mark on the area around the decal. So don’t give up and use a screwdriver. Try to find a plastic trim tool that will work. You’ll be glad you did.
