Very good, great deterrent, easy to use

The unit did not charge up and work despite many hours of charging.The unit light flashes and just bleeps endlessly when plugged in.I wrote seeking advice but have no record of receving a reply.Unfortunatley the 30 day return period has expired.While i have been relaxed about this as i expected to receive a replacement offer; I do not feel the result it a good one for me-having paid for a device that works.If the supplier/Amazon would care to get in touch with me reagrding this I would appreciate it.

It is a good product. The only problems seem to be that it is not loud enough and it is TOO sensitive! I use it in my car but if a shadow goes across the sensor, the alarm goes off.! Well made and easy to use

The first one I had to return as it became defective after a few days. I strictly adhered to the pre- installation requirements. The second unit functioned well for a few days. I then had to reset it by removing it from the 12volt socket & refitting it as it seemed to be "dead".There are two paragraphs in the "Warnings""Avoid high temperatures keeping in a dry well ventilated space"."Do not install the device near any heat source or equipment that produces heat"."Keep away from direct sunlight".Well...Inside a car/van on a summers day is not the place for it to be I would think ?I'll just reset it every day. Hopefully the conditions will change over the winter ?Apart from that it functions well. However, early days yet & I'm not overly confident.

As other reviews have noted, the remote control isn’t well designed. It’s too easy to press by accident.And, after a while, it functions intermittently.The alarm was reasonably loud but it’s now stopped working fully; and only emits a very low noise.More of a deterrent than a full security device.Is this really ‘German Engineering’. Usually, one gets more.

Deters intruders getting in your car

This unit is very good. You may not hear it when it goes off if you are 100ft away, but the car thief breaking into your car can!!. This unit is well worth the money, we were having our car broken into on a regular basis ( once a month ) fitted this and because there is a flashing light to deter the culprit we have not had our car broken into for 6 months.
