An excellent little mower, really pleased with my choice. Cuts long grass and great adjustment range. There is also a mulching plug for use when grass is dryer and shorter. The mower will store upright without support and has a built in handle allowing carrying in upright position through shed door etc. The rear roller means you achieve a striped effect.I am now the man with the greener grass!!

I got this as a replacement for two battery mowers, both of which had seriously disappointed.Easy to put together and works really well - seems much better at cutting and gives a similar Finnish with the integral roller as the battery mowers I have sent back. Well engineered and comes with a longer cable than most. I do use an extension cable with it to have more flexibilty, but could just about do the lawn with just its own 15m cable. I find it easy to use on my sloping lawn, which has more of a slope than they suggest the mower is designed for, and results are good.Only criticism I have is that the "box full" indicator is not that reliable - sometimes it is closed (meaning full) when the box is nowhere near full and on other times it still pops open when the box is full. Cannot give 5 stars until used for it for a year - as was happy with second battery mower in the beginning, but its battery failed quickly, meaning I returned it after 4 months. Less to go wrong with this cable power mower, and while slightly less flexible than a cordless mower, this is not an issue for me as I have external sockets at both ends of my garden.

Get the bad out of the way first, instructions are pretty dire and far too small especially the parts assembly. I could see how it should go together, but going through the instructions and viewing the parts sequence it does not follow the actual built build. Anyway the good bit, it cut our medium sized lawn very well and also collected all the cuttings every bit as good as my Mountfield petrol mower does. Stripes? yes it does stripes maybe not as good as a heavy metal cylinder mower but it does them. The collection bag is very strong with a solid base and top with thick flexible sides which help with storage (and packing ), I don't have a problem with this type but some might. I nearly went for a Mountfield Princess but decided on this and am extremely happy with it (once built).

Used it for the first time and my grass was quite long in places it had no trouble cutting the grass it's a brilliant lawnmower would highly recommend it love that the height can be altered not sure if its easy to put together as my son did mine

The lawnmower does not come with the handles assembled which was a bit of a surprise. No idea why this is the case.The instructions are not the best and it is a fiddly job requiring quite a lot of strength and more than one pair of hands.We have yet to try it out due to the very wet weather.

Great works very well

The lawnmower itself seems sturdy enough once built. I bought it to replace a 20 yr old mower which finally gave up the ghost However the instruction booklet is terrible. Luckily the manufacturer's website has fabulous full colour instructions that are clear and concise. I did get it built by myself eventually. Anyone having trouble I would recommend the website.
