The items was excellent shape. Have not used it yet. THe charger for has just arrrived and charging it at this time.

It has a fast charge and multiple Outlets.

This battery came nearly fully charged and slotted into our Kobalt 40V charger with ease. It is fully compatible with our Kobalt band string trimmer's electric motor. We note that this battery is a smaller capacity than what came with our Kobalt tool. The one that came with the tool was 4.0 Ah, where this one is 2.8 Ah. Nevertheless, we use this to trim grass around out 1/4 acre lawn and it worked just fine. That's all we need it to do, once a week, so we're content with this purchase. The real test will be seeing how it does with our tiller attachment next spring when we're prepping the flower beds. That's really why we ordered it, so we can get more of that done in one session by having two battery packs to use. It's also nice to have a spare in case you forget to put one back on the charger after moving the lawn.

Terrible. Will not hold a charge very long or run very long. Get the real battery.

I'm a standard user and have been using/recharging this battery for three months now and am happy with its performance. It takes a charge like the OEM battery and (most importantly) puts out an equivalent power and has the longevity of an OEM battery.It will require another year to see it is lasts as long as the OEM and I'll be back with any noteworthy info then.Meanwhile - Highly Recommended.

Battery does not hold charge

This replacement battery works just as well as the factory Kobalt battery did (before it died). Seems to be just as solidly built, charges quickly and last just as long - but for like half the price.
