Works and looks great! Very well made, easy to install and took only about10 minutes to install. It didn't come with installation instructions, but pretty easy to figure out how to install. I installed mine on the bottom so it is easy to lock and unlock and can even do it with your foot.Just be careful when drilling and screwing into the sliding door frame and not to hit the glass. Try to position it so you don't drill or screw into the glass. Use the shorter screws on the area where it is close to the glass, so you don't damage the glass area. Other than that, nice safety feature for the slider and a good price.

Used the shorter ones provided closer to the glass edge.Same suggestion to the selection plate and locking plate. Having sliding doors in my house always made me feel unsafe. I found these and ordered one to try out. I was impressed how easy it was to install and felt the quality of materials was very good. It’s a simple operation to lock and unlock. You can even open your door a few inches to let in some air but still have it locked to prevent someone from opening it and gaining access. I ordered more for the rest of my doors!

This is an inexpensive product that helps provide peace of mind. It is built well and does what it says. Installed easily and fit well. Easy to open door, just push the button and it releases.

Our little one loves to shut doors and I was afraid she would smash her fingers or someone else's so I was looking for something that would keep the sliding glass door that leads into our sunroom open during the day and this works perfectly. Install was super easy and it's extremely easy to use.

It’s is great protection for a sliding door but it won’t stay up all the way up and easily falls down like the actual metal part of the lock is sliding down at least half way so if you shake the door like a toddler it might fall and get to the bottom and than the door is unlock again. Wish it could just stay up and won’t move with gravity. Perhaps a spring or something inside could help

I love it. We put in on the top of the sliding door so our grandson can’t reach it. Gives us a sense of security at night as well.
