Disappointing
Unfortunately it doesn't stay on. Charged it for a good few hours and only last maybe a few seconds and it turns off.

Great fun, loud sounds and colourful effects. Very nostalgic.
BuyCard Rechargeable Lightsaber (B0D1XJQSV9)Great fun, loud sounds and colourful effects. Very nostalgic.Probably the geek in me but this made me smile as soon as I got it and its hard not to imagine fighting Mr Vader and trying out some classic moves. The handle feels robust and the plastic grip design helps you hold it firmly whilst swinging it round and spinning it about your finger. The battery was already partially charged so I was able to play with this straight out of the box. There are some very satisfying loud sounds and the light pulses look very good. The sabre itself is made up of 4 sliding plastic parts contained within the handle and a sharp flick of the wrist is enough to make them spring out into a complete saber. There are options for turning off the sound and for changing the lighting from solid to colours to flashing, etc. I couldn't get the flashlight to be as bright as they advertised but this is a minor detail. The technical details says 2 x AAA are required but I'm not sure where you would stick these as the saber is fully rechargeable via a USB-C cable and there is no mention of these AAA elsewhere. It does also say its suitable for 1-14 months old but I would suggest not.

Quite good but broke
It broke after it was dropped once. It would not turn on afterwards but was very fun while it lasted. I would not recommend swinging it around too aggressively.

Bright and noisy sword saber
This lightsaber toy comes boxed with USB-C charging cable included, together with a small plastic attachment should you buy two and want to connect them together. The lightsaber has a USB-C charging port - a red light comes on when charging and turns off when done. I much prefer that to having to use batteries.Build quality seems OK, the lightsaber is shaped more like a sword than a traditional tube and is operated by pressing a button on the handle. Initially I had a bit of trouble extending the sword fully, the tip wouldn't come out but a little squeeze on the side was all it took. Holding the button down turns it on and off while pressing it cycles through the modes. The first one is a colour changing mode but it can be set to a single colour. The audio is very loud, with the classic lightsaber hum and a clashing noise when it is moved or hits something. Thankfully the audio can be switched off with a triple click of the button. A double click makes the light flash. None of these instructions are included on or in the box.Though the lightsaber is lightweight plastic, the handle is a satisfying size and comfortable to grip, and the sword section stays firmly extended when pulled out. It stands up well to being bashed about and is easy to retract. Overall I'm happy with this lightsaber toy, my only complaint is that I would have liked to be able to switch off the clashing sound without also switching off the hum.
