Well-built and easy to assemble
Got the 1200l which is basically 3 interconnected square units. Very easy to assemble, just panels and sturdy clips. Instructions are hard to read, but was able to figure it out quickly just from looking at the parts. One hint that will save your fingers... Dip the clips in hot water for 20 seconds before sliding them into place and they will go on so much more easily. Clever system, sturdy once assembled and very well priced compared to others of this capacity. I'd buy again. PS while they are designed to be assembled in a line of three, they can be put together as a corner unit also as the sides are easily interchangeable. Really pleased with this purchase.

Look good but hard to assemble
The assembly method was good, pity the instructions were in German. The only comment is that they require fingers of steel and the strength of superman to put the clips onto the side pieces. Not a job for weak or small hands. Using pipe pliers to grip the places where the clips held the sides together made it easier but I would suggest a two person assembly as the plastic is not very hard and deforms when assembling. The lids were a nightmare to join the two halves together due to the need to overlap the central join. Difficult to understand where the strengthening bars went but English instructions might have helped there. Anyway, once assembled, they make a substantial composter although the plastic is a little flexible but they seem to work ok and look good.

Overpriced, poorly manufactured and a bit flimsy
Honestly a poor experience beginning to end. I don’t usually bother with reviews but felt strongly enough to share my experience this time:Delivery: no issues, usual Amazon service.Packing: the item is insufficiently packed and a bit flimsy so where the cardboard box had been placed down (no signs of distress to the box) about half the panels had edges broken off at the base of the side panels. At this point I looked at refund options, but since this requires a printer and a trip to the post office I regretfully decided to push on.Assembly: The instructions are useless. Couple of low resolution images on the back of a label. Once you’ve worked it out I guess they make sense, but offer no explanation. Some Googling later and I found a YouTube vid, but this was for the single module not 3x.***Note here, the chambers are not separate, rather one long section all joined, but with 3 separate lids *****Next up were the clips. Nice idea for tool free assembly, but like the rest of the parts suffers from very poor manufacturing quality and dimensional tolerance. Some are so tight that even after soaking them in boiling water they were a struggle to install. They’re also impossible to assemble in situ, as the bottom joins need pressure from inside the bin to stop the panels deforming. The lids are two piece. Assembly was quite neat and they actually seem the most sturdy part. There’s very little reason for them to be 2 pieces though. A lid is smaller than a side panel so wouldn’t have significantly increased the packaging size if they were a complete piece.Hinges: another victim of the poor manufacturing quality. There’s injection moulding flash all around the parts the hinge pin needs to slide through. I essentially had to punch through these with the pin and a hammer, being careful about alignment.Finished article: in fairness installed they look ok. Still think they’re flimsy and not worth the price tag. At half the cost I’d happily have put up with the flaws above.Durability: time will tell, they’ve only been in places 20hrs.

Deuba garden composter unit - flimsy but still standing
So far I’ve bought 2 of these units. The 1st was bought with 3 sections, the 2nd with 1. The 1st purchase arrived with no instructions, and 1 section damaged. I managed to assemble it and, even with the damaged section, it’s still standing after nearly a year. Deuba gave me a refund on my purchase of the second unit, not overly generous but better than nothing. In conclusion the product is flimsy, not manufactured to a high standard (e.g. the lids do not close securely and need to weighted in the event of high wind). On the plus side it is relatively easy to assemble if you use logic and patience and, despite it’s apparent flimsiness, still standing.Awarding 3 * due to the flimsy nature of the product, and flaws in the production process (no instructions, damaged).

Fairly sturdy
This item arrived very quickly and is a good size overall, the diagram is self explanatory but fiddly to put together. The lid is the worst thing to assemble and for the size of the box the manufacturer could easily do this. I just hope it lasts a good few years so I don't have to buy another one.

Flimsy and hard to put together
It seems so fragile when putting it together, I can’t see it ageing well. Very expensive for the lack of quality. Also instructions in German and picture diagrams are pretty crap
