Worth ever gosh darn penny!!
After having ligament reconstruction on my foot. I was in a soft cast. Then a cast. And was supposed to get another cast but was cleared for a boot as long as I treat it like a cast. My regular boot is so heavy and the pain is bad some times. Well I needed something for night and researched and researched and I found this one and I am not disappointed at all! I am still non weight bearing unfortunately so I'm not walking in this. But its SOOOOOOO freaking comfortable and light and feels like angles kissing my really sore foot. I will be in this and a walking boot for 2 more months and my expectations are beyond exceeded with this product. It will now be my main boot!!! thank you!!!!!!!

Plantar FascitisSoft Night Splint - Ahhhh
I originally bought a different kind of splint. The black kind with all sorts of Velcro. I have arthritic toes, so I didn't want anything that would hit my toes. But the Velcro stopped sticking and in the middle of the night I'd be poked with Velcro. I needed to find a more comfortable splint for plantar fasciitis.I then bought this Soft Night Splint, and it is wonderful and just what I needed. However, if you are in a warm climate it would be too hot. But I live in a cold winter climate, so I find it cozy on my feet. It is adjustable, and actually very pretty. It was pretty easy to walk on it if necessary. Not only is it very comfortable to wear, it doesn't wake me up and I am getting a lot of pain relief. I have used it about a week, and I notice a lot of improvement already. Nothing was working until now. P.T. minimal relief, exercise minimal relief, stretching minimal relief. But this Soft Night Splint is giving me a lot of relief. My foot and ankle doctor suggested I get one. He didn't have a model that he preferred and just told me to try what I thought would work. Thankfully, ordering it through Amazon allowed me to return the original one that had Velcro defects. Nothing wrong with this model though. I look like Santa's Helper, and my husband thinks it is cute. I ordered a small and wear a 7 1/2 shoe. This is a perfect fit. Yes, do try it. It is a bit more pricey than some of the black models, but worth it to me. I can sleep with it very comfortably. Not a problem.

but once its on it is super soft and comfortable
I'll be honest. I didn't see a lot of relief in my PF until I went to the Dr and got 3 rounds of cortisone shots and custom made (expensive) orthotics. I run marathons, so that's how I got myself into this situation in the first place. I also have a heel spur in that foot, so this problem is here to stay. After I got my orthotics/ shots and took 8 weeks off of running I am completely pain free and just finished my first marathon after being diagnosed with PF - without any pain. I ended up giving this splint away to someone else who has PF, but here's what I can tell you about it: It's a little bulky, but once its on it is super soft and comfortable. The pattern helps make it not looks like a big ugly medical device, more like a fun slipper - that is a boot. The lady I gave it to says she loves it and wears it often.

Worked (with pros and cons)
My foot issues:- plantar fasciitis in both feet. It hurt terribly to walk when getting out of bed.- I had it about 6 months before trying these splints- I have been wearing them for about 2 1/2 months now. My husband has plantar fasciitis in his left foot and this made his better, though not as significantly as my experience.Pros:-The boot truly did resolve the 'pain upon first steps out of bed' issue. It worked the from the first night. It keeps your foot in the 'flexed' position so the muscles and tissues are not a susceptible to tightening throughout the night.- The straps are adjustable to your liking for more or less support. I like the straps looser so I can have a bit of movement in my foot, and I don't like tightly constricted things.- They are comfy and cosy.CONS:- They are padded and therefore very cumbersome. I wear 2, and I wake up throughout the night wondering where to put my feet and just conscience of when I move around.- you cannot walk in them. If you have to get up throughout the night, you have to take them off (another reason I keep mine loose- to slip them off instead of having to un-Velcro them.- They get quite warm. I don't think I will be able to stand them in the summer.WOULD I BUY THEM AGAIN?:Mmmm...probably. My husband would not.I got one for my husband that is more low profile and less padded. The hard plastic support is over the foot to in front of the calf versus this one having the molding under the foot to behind the calf. His is also a bit lower on the calf. He likes that one.

It works!
This brace has helped so much. I sleep in it at night. In the morning when I take it off but my shoes on and I'm not in pain when I stand up. Highly recommend.
