It's taken me awhile to get round to using this bleed kit.I ordered it some time so this weekend was the opportunity to have a play.I have hydraulic brakes on my EV-ATB and needed to change the pads.Reading the instructions is always useful, but in this case cross referencing them with my bikes instruction was really useful.Once underway all went smoothly. Amazing how little fluid is really in a bike brake system!All in a great kit and worth the space on the shelf in the garage.

I bought the multi-manufacturer (Shimano, Tektro etc.) version of this from the same brand last year at a similar price.That came with yellow plastic connectors (more on that in a sec) but also came with the same funnel, however crucially it also came with two syringes.Successfully used it on a Shimano bike having watched a Park Tools video on YouTube.I then moved onto TRP Hylex brakes on a gravel bike, and cheaper Tektro bikes on the other mountain bikes we own.The former wasn't too bad, but had to use the two syringe method as there was no means of getting the funnel on at the hoods. The Tektros were a nightmare in comparison, I couldn't get a good seal with the yellow plastic connectors as the body wasn't long enough and while I eventually bled them, tore one of the O-rings.So, picked up this kit with a bit of trepidation. The metal fixings are much better, but again, there are that many Tektro brakes out there (and rebranded model numbers, like TKD149 on my Specialized e-Bike) that it's impossible to know for sure you'll have enough pieces to do a bleed. Particularly as some of those model numbers yield next to online results.As you'll see, you've got 5 fittings, not sure on the purpose of the smallest one but of the threaded ones, you've two pitch/sizes for both the syringe end and the funnel end. If you've got a particularly long type of Tektro lever, you're going to be out of luck as the adaptor won't fit into it. Yellow box is this new kit, the plastic box is the one I bought last year.Happy to recommend the brand of bleed kit, but odds are for Tektro brakes, you're going to need extra pieces.

If you're looking for a decent kit to do brake maintenance, this is it. You get everything you need to bleed and refill your brake fluid.Regular bleeding helps to restore optimal lever feel, eliminate sponginess, and ensure consistent braking power.You get two tubs of mineral oil to refill, a syringe and everything you need, it's an easy and simple enough job to do yourself, however if like me, it's your first time, i highly recommend looking up videos on how to do it.I have now done it twice and both times went well, it makes a huge difference for sure and this type of maintenance is under rated.Kit is ace, works well and is as described.

This is good value at £16 (June 24) for the set because it comes with 2 bottles of mineral oil, which should do many fluid changes.It is aimed at Tektro (TRP - 'Tektro Racing Products') brakes so is complete/comprehensive for those only, as they only need one syringe, but it could work with Shimano it looks like (not tested).Other kits can be had that have more elements in and more adapters so cover more brake systems, but then dont have the mineral oil, so if you just have TRP brakes then this would be good to get.The components inside are EZBleed ones - they do their own branded kits and supply parts to others for aftermarket/non-OEM kits. The items are all of ok quality and finish.The contents are as pictured (June 24), though the instruction book mentions another bleed block - I think these are more Shimano instructions, as the 2 systems are very simialr in their process, so its likely an error due to that. The video on the listing is best for the procedure.It comes with a spare syringe plunger seal head and hose.All in a good kit if you need one for TRP/Tektro hydraulic disc brakes.

This brake bleed kit seems pretty comprehensive. It came with everything I needed to bleed my brakes, plus an alternative set of fittings for a different size of thread at the lever and caliper. It does mention to grease the syringe rubber once cleaned with a specific type of grease but none is included so I guessed ptfe grease was fine and just used a little of that.Good comprehensive instructions are included as well which should be handy for someone who hasn't bled brakes before.Overall a decent kit, and value seems fine to me for the quality, worth it I think to save a trip to the bike shop.

There's all you need here to bleed Shimano/Tektro brakes. The method is pretty straightforward and is easy to follow from YouTube tutorials. It's nice to have the mineral oil included in the kit. Much cheaper than the better known branded products and though quality doesn't feel quite so good, but it works nonetheless.

Has many attachments so I didn't need to guess if this would work for me. It was perfect. Fixed my brakes that completely stopped working. Thank you!

Este kit te permite purgar y recargar el sistema hidráulico de los frenos, que con el tiempo pueden coger algo de aire, restándoles eficacia y dejando la maneta de freno algo blanda, así que incluye émbolo, tubos y dos botellitas de aceite mineral, que son suficientes para llenar ambos frenos de sobra.Siguiendo las instrucciones y algunos consejos expertos de youtube se puede realizar todo el proceso sin problema ni derramar nada en unos 20 min (ambos frenos).Una vez hecho se nota que las manetas de freno vuelven a tener un tacto firme, y la eficacia de los frenos vuelve a su punto dulce.Por el precio de compra original (18,99€) me parece muy buena compra, seguramente en taller te cobran más, y ya por el precio actual rebajado de 16,99€ me parece una compra excelente.Muy recomendable.Usado con una ebike Engwe Engine Pro 2.0
